Goose’s favorite restaurant was at the mall, so he led the gang there; it was an Italian pizzeria. When they arrived, the waiter greeted both Zirc and Goose and asked if they were having the usual, which they nodded, and Goose asked the girls what they wanted. Lyla and Peony read the menu and ordered fettuccine Alfredo and carbonara. Their orders arrived, and Zirc got a pasta carbonara calzone, and Goose got a marinara bowl with pizza crust as the bowl. The girls were surprised by their orders, but they were even more surprised when they saw how the boys were eating, as they'd never eaten those dishes before, even though their orders were literally the regular. *If that really exists, I would stuff my face in that as well!* While eating *I should say feasting* Lyla's phone got a notification and she got a promotion to go to a different branch of her company overseas. Her face was brimming with light, but then she looked at Goose, and she was in conflict. Lyla needed someone to talk to and messaged Peony privately, telling her they needed to have a serious talk. Peony looked at Lyla's face and understood this wasn't about any of her romance detective epiphanies. Peony tells Goose that she has some papers due and tells him that Lyla needs to help her with it as well, cause it's her forte. Goose understood and signaled to Zirc to finish fast. They then ate like Scooby and Shaggy, split the bill, and left. The ride home was silent besides Goose and Zirc just singing to their favorite tunes. Lyla and Peony were at the back with awkward silence since she even insisted that Zirc sit at the front. Zirc and Goose understood and just focused on having fun with just them boys.
Goose let the girls off at Peony's house, and they continued their sing-sessh. Goose invites Zirc to go karaoke together, Zirc agrees cause he was in the mood to sing. Zirc, with a serious tone, tells Goose to stop by a pharmacy. Goose got worried and just agreed. When Goose asks why he has to go, he replies that “just like his father on his birthday, he has to buy some earplugs too”
