Lyla took her time to think about her decision, and once a week had passed, she called the entire group to go on an outing. Goose was always ready, locked and loaded to go out. Peony knows what's up and will always be there for Lyla, but Zirc, he… well, you know how he is, so Lyla tells Goose to pick her and Peony and head to Zirc's house. Goose like Smee to Captain Hook, followed her command and went straight to Zirc's house, they all laughed on deciding how they should wake him up and even made a bet on which bear pajama he would wear, but to their surprise, when they arrived, he was just about to head out of the house and lock the door. Goose and Lyla were both stunned, and if their jaws could, they would hit the floor on the way out of the car window. Peony wasn't stunned; she was furious. She started shouting: “YOU COULD GET UP EARLY ALL THIS TIME?!!!” Zirc just replied with a simple and nonchalant “Yeah” and showed them a thumbs up. Goose then explains in shock: “Who are you and what have you done to my lazy, stupid, sloth of a couch potato, friend? And can you please replace him cause he sucks!!” Zirc was offended, but then explained that he was excited cause their favourite comic series had just released its grand finale. Goose didn't know and just shouted: “REALLY?! IF THAT'S TRUE, GET IN!!” he then looked to Lyla with puppy eyes; she caved and told him they could go to the bookstore. The bookstore they wanted to go to was an hour away because it was the only store that was still selling a copy and hadn't sold out yet. Goose clarifies with Zirc, and he replies by telling him that he has already booked 2 copies, one for each of them. Goose was touched and told Zirc he loves him in an endearing tone. Peony was disgusted and still annoyed at Zirc. She then asked the boys why they had to buy the book when they could read it online, even though she knew the answer. *Comic books are cheap upon release but the more popular the series, the higher the chances of them to become a collectable* Goose explains that they each have a collection of every comic book this series has released and they started collecting a year ago which was over 50 volumes ago, they scavenged to look for the volume they missed upon its release and the finale is the only volume they are missing. Peony could appreciate the struggle and respect their determination. 

While on the road, Goose gave his phone to Lyla and told her to put on some tunes. Lyla chose the music and became the DJ; she then began to sing, followed by both Zirc and Peony. After a few songs, Goose felt hungry and wanted to stop by a restaurant on the way. Lyla tells Goose of a restaurant that she knows is good on the way. Goose was bewildered that she would know a place on the way to another country since the bookstore was literally at the edge of the country. Goose was familiar with it as it was a bookstore he often went to on the way to work. Goose then just throws the thought out and says: “Point the way, my trusted navigator, for without you I am lost,” but without missing a beat, Zirc interrupted and said: “That phrase has more lies than you are ugly dude; I can't even see any truths besides you needing a navigator”. Lyla told Goose that the place is at the next stop. Goose then agreed and told Lyla that he had eaten at that place and knew it was good. Before he finished his sentence, both he and Zirc’stomach began to rumble. Zirc also recognized the restaurant and came to the realization that he had been there because Goose was too nervous to meet his ex there. Goose signaled to Zirc to shut up, but he missed it and explained how Goose really liked this girl, but he was nervous, and she lived close to the country border, so they made the restaurant the meeting place as it was in the middle. Zirc also adds that Goose took his current job because of that girl. Lyla was furiously jealous, and Peony, unlike usual, was calm but also terrified. She claimed that she had never seen Lyla this mad before and pats Goose on the shoulder, saying: “Congratulations, she really loves you, bro”. Lyla went off and asked in a scary but calm voice: “Was he pretty? What was her name? Do you still contact her?” Zirc wanted to open his mouth and answer for Goose, but Peony quickly grabbed his neck and shut his mouth for his own good and especially for Goose's sake. Goose panicked and just chose a different topic and just blurted out: “Did you know that Zirc and Peony are dating?” Zirc shouted: “Dude!! Not cool!!” and Goose silently replied: “Now you know how it feels!!” *Wrong topic to change too buddy* Lyla gently caressed Goose's head and told him gently: “I know, I'm her best friend. Now back to your ex”. Goose was just asking Lyla when they were gonna arrive, but Lyla just answered: “I don't know, you seem to have more fond memories there than me. You tell me.” Goose was filled with fear and drove in silence while Zirc was still oblivious as to why his mouth was still closed and what he said to deserve it. 

Lyla looked down and, in a sad and concerned tone, asked Goose about his dating life with his ex: “How was it dating someone so far away?” Goose just said that it was hard, but he tried his best, but she didn't. Lyla then asked Goose, “What if I had to work and live in the next country over? Would that change anything?” Goose took his time to answer while Peony covered Zirc's mouth even tighter while whispering: “Stay quiet, you are a time bomb, and we don't know if anything you say may cause an explosion. Be silent, and you'll get to choose the next cartoon we binge” Zirc nods and makes a zip-the-mouth gesture. Goose then said that he doesn't know because it hasn't happened yet, but if it does, he will try even harder to spend as much time with her as possible. Lyla sighed deeply and took a deep breath. She then told Goose that she got an offer for the promotion that she requested. Goose didn't react and just told her that he would try his best to do as he said, and he would try to be there for her whenever she needed him. Lyla then says that she hasn't accepted yet, but she's given it a lot of thought. Before she makes a decision, Goose asks her, “If I weren't here, would you have taken the job?” Lyla then shakes her head and says that she would still have to think about Peony since she is also her other half. Goose then asks her if she would be happier if she accepts it. Lyla pauses and slowly nods. Peony did not react. Goose then tells her that if it will make her happy, then she should take it. Goose comforts Lyla and tells her that worse comes to shove, she can always live in his house, as he has a house mere minutes from his office. Goose then adds that most of the offices are close by to his as the country was small. Lyla felt relieved listening to Goose’s reassurance and decided that she would accept the offer, but she would try to live in the provided accommodations. Goose exhales and tells her that his door is always open and his phone is always available.

They drove to the restaurant in silence with the knowledge that a huge change in their lives was about to happen. When they arrived, they ordered and ate their food in continued silence until a song played. It was the same song that Lyla and Zirc first sang in the bookstore. Zirc started singing, Lyla noticed, and started to slowly sing along. Goose and Peony felt the vibe change in the group and began to sing along as well. They played the song and all the other songs from the playlist in the car ride to the bookstore, and the whole gang sang till they arrived. Everyone went into the bookstore and followed as Zirc told the storekeeper of his order and paid the remainder minus the deposit booking fee. Amidst all the silence and heavy atmosphere, Zirc shouted like he was going super Saiyan. Zirc celebrated him finishing his collection, but Goose was unusually emotionally exhausted to do so. Lyla saw this and called for Goose, she then went to him and asked to hold the comic. Goose happily and nervously gave her the book. Lyla took the comic and ran to Zirc and joined his celebration by shouting “MY BOYFRIEND COMPLETED HIS COMIC BOOK COLLECTION!!!” Goose was shocked by both the volume and the words his significant other just uttered. He smiled and slowly began to laugh. Lyla then continues her celebration, “MY BOYFRIEND'S A NERD BUT PEONY'S IS WAAAAY WORSE CAUSE HE'S A LAZY NERD!!!”, Zirc couldnt hear anything oover his own scream and Peony just watched as her two of her most precious people in her life shouting and celebrating a meningless achievement, she slapped her forehead and asked under her breath and said “oh, what the hell”, she took part in a small and short scream because she couldnt contain her laughter of her boyfiend slowly getting on his knees running out of breath screaming.
