[Sorry mother…your son here is going to jail it seems] 

He closed his eyes.

He accepted his fate. 

“You’re not going to jail, don’t worry”, One of the enforcers said.

[THANK GOD]

“Oh…of course..haha”, Luca said as he scratched the back of his head.

[What are you doing?]

[I AM NERVOUS OKAY?] 

“But, we still need to interrogate regarding this matter and also, your friend’s…death”

Silence filled the room.

[Oh yeah…He died] 

“So, Luca, can you explain to me what happened?”

Luca gulped. 

He then started explaining the incident.

“So, you’re saying Vale was the one who tampered with the school’s core?”

“I…think? I mean that’s what the headmaster thought what happened at least” 

“I see, and then you proceed to stop him, why?”

[I mean…]

“Because…He tampered with other people's memories, I guess?” 

“Hmm?”

Luca was slightly taken aback.  

[OH NO DID I ANSWER WRONGLY?]

“Umm, I mean, I just wanted to you know, get my stuff back”, He said

“What do you mean by stuff?”

“Umm, it’s like…my friends…I guess”, He said as he looked down.

“I see, okay then, what do you know about Vale”

[...huh…]

“Is something wrong?”

“Oh, it’s nothing”

[What do I know about him?]

“I guess, He was nice, he helped me throughout school and such, but he did…made people forget about me”

He looked down.

He then looked at his right arm. 

[But…even so…did he need to die?]

“Hmm, well it seems your stories align with what the headmaster said”

[Oh…that’s it]

“Last question”

Luca looked at the Enforcer.

“Did you know there were others outside of the school that were affected by Vale?”

[What?]

“Huh…no, not really” 

“I see”

“Were there…more people he casted his magic on?”

Silence filled the room.

Luca gulped. 

“You need not to know that, Just rest up and continue to go to school as per usual”

“Oh…okay, I guess” 

"We'll take our leave, take care”, He said as they all left the room. 

He breathed a sigh of relief.  

[THANK GOD]

[BUT STILL IT WAS SCARY]

He looked at his right arm.

He could still feel the burning pain even with the bandage on.

He looked outside the infirmary’s window.

[Well…I guess I am continuing class]
