After school, in the library.

“So, do you understand now?”

“...Umm…Yeah…yeah, of course”, He said with a struggling smile on his face.

[SERIOUSLY WHAT DOES IT MEAN?]

She sighed.

“Luca”

“Huh?”

She then glared at him.

“Don’t lie”

[HOW DID SHE-]

Luca gulped.

He looked down. 

“Sorry…”

She sighed, but a smile could be seen on her face. 

“It’s okay, Let’s just put it to the test in the hideout”

“Okay, thank you, Marie”

They then packed their stuff back in their bag, preparing to go to the hideout. 

[Well, hope those 3 don’t panic like last time] 

They then went out of the library and started walking in the dark hallway.

Marie locked the library. 

[Now that I see it again, this school is pretty dark, but we did study till it’s late] 

“AGHHHHHH”

They stopped in their tracks.

[Why does that sound familiar] 

“What…was that?”

“Someone probably fell”, Marie said nonchalantly.

She kept walking.

“Hey, Wait, what if-”

“Are you referring to the monster student talking about?”

“Yeah, what if…you know-”

“It’s probably just someone playing a prank, c’mon, let’s go”

She grabbed his hand.

Luca blinked. 

Her grip was firm, yet…she was…shaking? 

[Is she…scared?]

He held her hand.

“Well, let’s go then”

She averted her gaze. 

“Yeah”

[Well, never expect her to be scared, but she’s probably right, it’s probably nothing] 

“AGHHHHHH, HELPP!”

They stopped in their tracks.

The voices were closer. 

“I…don’t think it’s just someone”

[...Why did I jinx myself]

“HELP HELP HELP”

[Wait…why does that sound familia-]

Luca then casted “Light” and saw from the distance…three…familiar figures.

[...WHY ARE THEY HERE]

Luca sighed. 

“BROOOOO” 

“HELP US”

“IT’S CHASING US!” 

They then hid behind the both of them. 

“Guys, it’s late why are you guys even here in the first-” 

Luca’s and Marie’s eyes widened. 

[...oh you’ve got to be kidding me]

Marie started shaking more. 

“Luca…” 

He looked at her.

[She never had that expression before] 

Luca gulped. 

In front of them…was a humanoid figure that was covered in some sort of armor. 

It looked scaly and it had a helmet that covered its face that looked like a dragon.

On its back were wings and its hands were practically claws. 

[It’s the monster, but…Why does that look oddly familiar?]

The monster then stepped closer. It opened its palm. Different colored magic circles appeared on his palm and he clapped. 

Mist started spreading everywhere.

[Huh, he can make mist that’s…WAIT WE SHOULD RUN]

“RUN”
