After playing around the sea, and now looking up over the wide sea right in front of me.
It's scary...
Really... How did I even think about wanting to dive on it?
I droop by the sand with a pouty look.
Deeply thinking how am I going to solve this problem.
"I want to eat meat..."
After awhile, I reminisce about how master would prepare dinner. Hmm...
'
"Mmmm... Yummy!"
"Hey, you're not leaving your vegetables around, young lady.
"Huuuuh...?"
I remember myself pouting in refuse. But then.
"Do you know how hard have they've come to your plate just for you to eat? Don't waste it!"
"But carrot tastes weird..."
"Right, if you don't..... I'll make you dig out and plant them yourself."
"That's okay! I'll do what you've been doing! Farming!"
I said that so easily. Not knowing the consequences.
"NOW! DIG THAT OUT!!"
"Ehhh..... I've done it already.... Can't I just train?"
"THIS IS TRAINING!"
"Huuh? How can farming be called training...?"
"It is training you! On how to eat vegetables!!"
Yup. She made me farm over our farm at the time. Of course with her assistance. And when harvesting came, and a carrot is cooked, I was overjoyed to know that I planted them myself and when I was about to eat them.
I remembered how they tasted weird... But I grew them...
"...."
'
She was smiling to me back then....
I shook my head. And got up myself.
I went back some other side off the forest searching for food.
"I wonder if there are any vegeta-"
"Waa"
I found one! Wildberries!!!
I picked them one by one.
As I scanned near by the area.
"Dandelions!!"
I read in a book that dandelions can also be eaten, even master said so!
At first I was stunned when she first took a bite of it.
'
"Master... Have you finally become a butterfly this time?"
I got smacked. Boo.
She then said in the end that they actually are very nutritious and even made me read books about how edible it is...
I was indisbelief...
'
"Yaay!"
After a series of picking....
I went by the entrance of the forest where the seashore can be seen.
As such, the sun is pretty much up in the sky now.
"That means... It's afternoon? Or.. Noon...? Must be."
I laid out what I found.
Wildberries and Dandelions!
There were lots of them.
Hm..
"Maybe I should leave some of the rest for another days."
I packed my food with a cloth and put it in my bag.
"Well now! Thank you for the food!"
=======
The food crisis is solved.
Now, what to do from now...?
I went and looked over the sky as I laid myself down.
Hmm...
I stared over the tree that gave me shade from the sun, long enough to also feel the cool of brushing breeze over my face. This.... Makes me feel sleepy....
".... Mas...ter..."
......
Myra slept through the afternoon. And by then.....
"Ah! It's already sunset!!"
I got too comfortable out there!!
I bolt out and walked my way back to the cliff. Thankfully, no one saw me sleeping right there.
As I arrived. It's already nighttime.
But as I looked over my view in front of me. Where I haven't paid my attention with before I went off to find food.
I found some strange buildings a little far away from the cliff.
"Wow. That place look reallly huge!"
With an ounce of curiosity, I made my way there. Perhaps if there isn't anyone there, I can have somewhere to stay at for awhile!
Seriously? But how could someone live such a big place near a notorious clan? Ain't the Nelverans mostly strict about outsiders?
I closely approached the building.
It looked to be an... Abandoned buildings.
Ah no wait! A palace!
But it looks ruined...
And the gate is even broken.... There is even a vast garden that seem to have already overgrown and some that withered.
As I approach deeper within the palace... Deep down, I felt many strange feelings that drives me forward into looking more unto the abandoned palace. But why...?
"It's just abandoned...."
And strangely... I feel like I know where I'll have to go?
Have I've been here before?
I walked across at the start of a big door entrance, but it seems to have also been broken down.
While I made myself inside...
The palace is pretty dark, and is now only lightened by the moonlight from the windows.
Although that is true... This place...
Feels really creepy...
Yup I saw what would usually be seen over a hallway inside....
The dark silence of a hallway.
Ha... Haha...
Let's put our curiousity aside rather than seeing a ghost!
By getting near through the entrance.
Haha... Do I even believe in ghost? Of course not! But....
Before I even step foot over the door frame at the entrance, suddenly...
I heard a howl.
.........
"Yup.... Make up your mind, Myra~ Deal with the wolves? Or Stay INSIDE?"
Haha! Of course...
"I'll get inside..."
Ghosts aren't even real anyway.
And! I have my abilities!
Well, on that note, let's just explore.
The palace really has many decorations itself, huh? The wall is even colored with a cool light blue.
I wonder if a palace like this is also the same outside the island.
I might not have mentioned, but the land where I am is the Nelveran's territory and is an island, though it is not completely owned by them, due to leaving outside the border as a negotiative place and a place where exiled members are thrown into. If there were any way to get on outside of the island, that'll be waiting for a large ship to arrive at a port near here.
Maybe I should consider heading there?
After all... Staying here might just endanger me...
Since that is the case... I also need to learn how to fight...
At the abandoned palace, I went over the second floor.
Again...
That strange feeling of familiarity...
Is just...
As if possessed, Myra went over through the hallways passing from room to another room.
She ran and ran desperately, reaching a tall 2 big door right in front of her.
The door looked dirty... But despite the damages over the palace. This one room seem to remain in a good state.
My heart is pounding... I reached through the door's handle preparing myself as I enter.
"What... Is all this...?"
A room full of portrait...
And items that looked really precious. A treasure sword... A Bow. And shelves full of books.
Myra slowly approached a small portrait.
"Of people... And... children... A child that looked like me....?!"
Myra, the only name that was said by a lost girl from the Nelveran clan's territory. After being framed by a villager of the clan's and getting exiled as a result, she sets herself for journey to find herself over the uncertain and unknown parts of her she didn't know.
With nowhere to go over the island, she discovers an abandoned palace near a cliff. As she entered the ruined palace, she suddenly stumbles a portrait of herself as a child with some other people who looked familiar to her. What is it? What mystery is awaiting her?
