Violette got down, took her luggage from the boot of the taxi. As she stepped her foot in the airport, the crisp air hit her. The atmosphere here was different than any she had been before, her family never really had to travel by plane so she was unfamiliar with this place. She looked around finding for a trolley to keep her bags in, she had no idea it existed before seeing couple of people passing by with their bags on trolleys. Violette could hear footsteps accompanied by muttering voices of several people. For a second, she looked around inspecting the view until she remembered what she was here for. She moved around to find a trolley, she asked a staff for help and finally found herself a trolley. She took her luggage and kept it in the trolley and wheeled it towards the checking area. After showing her ticket at the check-in, Vivi dropped her baggage. She then boarded the flight and took her time searching for her seat, as she felt exhausted with all the hustle. As she sat on her seat, slowly the plane started to fill with passengers and a lady who looked to be in her mid-twenties sat beside Vivi, she had straight black hair tied in a high ponytail, black rimmed glasses and was neatly dressed in a pearly white top and a pair of black trousers. She looked so pretty that Vivi found herself staring at her for a good while until she realized and moved her gaze to the surroundings. She hoped the woman did not notice Vivi blatantly staring at her. The woman gave Vivi a smile as she passed her sitting down near the window seat. The woman sat down elegantly, her posture straight. Vivi unknowingly fixed her own posture imitating the woman beside her.

 ‘My name is Park Jiwoo,' the woman spoke suddenly and held out her hand in front of Vivi. 

‘Oh uh, my name is Violette,' Vivi answered accepting her hand, a bit flustered. 

'Wow, your name is beautiful just like you, Violette,’ she said with a genuine looking smile on her face, 

Violette couldn’t help but feel a bit flustered as she never expected an elegant looking lady calling her beautiful. ‘Thank you very much’ her voice trailing off in the last word as she was too flustered to speak. 

A few minutes passed and the plane was about to take off; the air hostess gave the flight instructions, very few of the passengers payed attention while most of them were either busy talking, yawning or looking elsewhere. Violette felt goosebumps, hair rose on her arms as the plane was taking off, she had never once gone somewhere far from her little town. Her parents always took her to her aunt’s when she had her summer breaks, which was near enough for her to reach by a few hours of drive. While Vivi was tangled in her thoughts, a few hours had passed. Vivi spent half of her time looking around at different people. The air hostess being called several times by several passengers, she attended everyone with a polite smile plastered on her face. Vivi wondered whether she’d also have to plaster a smile on her face every time she had to visit a patient. There were still at least five hours left before Vivi got off the plane, she heard someone behind her seat reading time aloud. Vivi noticed Jiwoo sat beside her immersed in her book. She was done looking everywhere and started to feel bored. She wondered if it was fine to disturb Jiwoo while she was reading, now that she was going to work as a nurse she needed to know how to communicate. With this thought Vivi decided to muster up some courage and initiate a conversation. 

Before she could act upon on her thought, Jiwoo put down her book and spoke up, 'Hey, what's up? Getting bored are you?'

Vivi paused for a quick second before answering, 'Oh yeah, you are right I was kind of bored looking around and stuff,' She wondered whether Jiwoo saw her attempt to speak to her.

'It's okay, I got quite bored too and started reading my book, a little chat wouldn't hurt now will it?' Jiwoo said sounding sweet and friendly.

'Yes sure, why not,' Vivi replied, feeling less hesitant this time.
