Everyone was moving out in a long queue, Violette one of them. Jiwoo stood right behind her. She'd returned to the busy atmosphere again, except it was set in a different place this time, and this time she had Jiwoo to accompany her alongside. Jiwoo helped Vivi get her baggage from the check-in. She could tell she was in a different country as everyone seemed foreign, speaking a language she had no clue about. One more obstacle for her, learning a completely foreign language from scratch. Though she thought she had a knack for learning new languages, it’d still be hard. Vivi moved forward inspecting her surroundings.

As they moved forward together Jiwoo stopped in her tracks,'Well this is where we say goodbye I suppose,' She said giving a quick tap on Vivi's shoulder.

'Goodbye Jiwoo! It was fun to have you around' Vivi said feeling a bit sad to have to leave her side.

She watched as Jiwoo walked further, waving at her before disappearing in the crowd. Now she was all by herself again. Vivi put her baggage then put it in the trolley and wheeled it near the exit where she had a taxi booked and waiting for her. “At least I planned this all well” she thought to herself. She went and sat in her taxi, the driver gave her a quick glance from the rearview mirror as she adjusted her seatbelt. 

Vivi quietly enjoyed the drive, admiring the view outside. Soon they entered a crowded area where there were many shops. Some were selling local Korean street food, which she decided she would try later in her, some were clothing shops with beautiful dresses on mannequins. About half an hour later she had already reached, the driver slightly turned back, his face waiting for her to get down and pay. Violette got out and paid for her ride. She turned around on her heels, a huge hotel stood in front of her. She slowly stepped inside, taking in the whole surroundings. 

‘Let me have your bags ma’am.’ a man dressed in a vest offered to Violette. 

Vivi let go of her luggage handle and let the man wheel it towards the reception. 

‘Your name ma’am?’ asked the receptionist, with a welcoming smile which reminded Vivi of the air hostess. 

‘Violette Hart, with double t in the name.’ she replied.

She looked around as the receptionist clicked few buttons on her keyboard. 

‘Ok, here is your key ma’am. Room number 230’ said the receptionist handing over the room key to Vivi. 

The man in the vest wheeled the trolley into a lift and dropped Vivi and her bags at her room. As the man kept the bags down and left, Vivi shut the door and lunged towards the bed. Plopping on it she took a deep satisfied breath. ‘'Finally! I made it here!'’ she thought aloud. Though it was only a temporary place for her to live until she started working and rented herself a house. But she swept those worries aside for now. She drew the curtains; it was already nighttime, and she could see the city lights. She stood there for a moment gazing at the tiny cars moving around and tall skyscrapers which seemed to touch the sky. Maybe coming to a new country and starting from scratch was not a bad decision after all, she thought as she kept admiring the view. Vivi then took a warm shower to ease up her body.

‘Room service!’ a lady’s voice called. 

Vivi got out of the shower, grabbed her bathrobe and opened the door. 

It was a lady with food on a trolley. ’Oh? But I did not place order yet...?’ Vivi asked, confused.

‘Oh! Don’t worry about it, ma’am. It was from Mr. Luke Hart. He placed the order for you.’ 

Vivi took the food tray and kicked the door shut behind her. She placed the tray on the bed-side table then dialed the phone to her dad. ‘

Hello? Dad, did you order the food for me?’ Vivi asked impatiently, not waiting for her dad to speak.  

‘Oh yes, Hun, I placed the order for you as your mom was worried whether you had your dinner or not. I hope you are doing fine sweetie’

‘Yes, dad, it’s so fun! Everything around here is so beautiful, and my journey was fun too, thanks to the kind lady I met’ 

'Kind lady?' 

'Yes, I met this woman named Park Jiwoo and she gave me all the instructions I need to follow to survive in Korea. She even made me a list!' Vivi sounded like an excited toddler telling her first day at school story. 

‘Haha, that’s great dear!’ her dad tried to keep up with her excitement.

Whilst talking on the phone Vivi ate her food, swinging her fork around everytime she was explaining something to her parents.

‘Alright it’s time for you to have some rest, Vivi’ her mom said. 

‘Okay okay, goodnight’ Vivi replied, yawning as she ended the call. 

"Well, let's see what we got in here," Vivi said as she opened her bag's zip. Her scrubs were kept on top of everything, as she knew she will be needing it the next day. Vivi picked it up and layed it on the sofa chair near the window. 

"Umm, well there isn't anything for me to do now so let me sleep anyway,"

Vivi had a habit of taking aloud to herself whenever she was alone, she thought it made her more efficient. She set the alarm to 7AM, let her hair down and went to sleep.
