“Huh? What are you doing here?”, ying was shocked seeing sae-byeok.

“Ohh this is my mom’s hotel.”

“Aren’t your family like in construction?”

“So, you know a lot about me.”

Ying did ask around a little about sae-byeok.

“Its like a side hustle of my family. Why are you here tho? And what’s all this talk about rock bottom?”

“Why do you care? We prolly won’t meet again. I might be taken back to thailand.”

“Why? All of a sudden?”, sae-byeok asked frantically.

“Well some family problem and my dad wants me back. Why am I even telling you all this?”

“I could help, you know. But you gotta tell me the problem.”

Problem, its was not just some problem for ying. It was a life crisis. Since she was going to be taken back anyway, she decided to let it all out to sae-byeok.

“My brother caused some problem in my dad’s company and he sent his assistant to take me back since, I am his only hope now. But I declined so they took the apartment away. The assistant is staying here so, now I am gonna agree, I guess.”

“So, you are giving up so easily?”

“Well there is nothing I can do. I don’t have much cash and my card is already freezed.”

“You can stay at my place for some time. You must think I am a perv but I swear I won’t try anything bad. Its up to you now whether you want to go back or stay.”

Ying hesitated. At this point ying knew that sae-byeok was not a bad person but she still couldn’t trust her completely. But this was a great opportunity for ying. So, she agreed.

“I am very grateful for you and I will definitely repay you some day.”

“Really?”

“Anything except for sex.”

“I expected it.”

They both went to the sauna first to get ying’s stuff and drove to sae-byeok’s apartment.

“We are here.”

“This is not the same place as before. Where is this?”

“Hey, you are over thinking again. The one last time was my sister’s house. This is mine. I took you there last time because her place was near.”

“Ohh.”

“Are you hungry?”

“A lot.”

“Let me cook you something. Will some bulgogi work?”

“You can cook?”

“Yes of course.”

“Well then bulgogi it is.”

“And your room is that way.”

Sae-byeok took ying to her room and went to cook.

“I can’t believe I am staying in her house. I must have really gone crazy but I have no choice right now. Why does she always finds me at my lowest?”

Ying settled down and made her way to the kitchen.

“How was the room? Are you comfortable?”

“Umm yeah the room is great.”

“Good, lets eat now.”

Sae-byeok went ahead to pull the chair for ying only to get a side eye. Sae-byeok just laughed it off. Ying ate really quickly as she was starving.

“You must have been really hungry seeing how you ate everything in like 5 minutes.”

“Geez don’t exaggerate.”

“Maybe we should got to bed now since, we have a lot to do tomorrow. You also have a morning class right?”

“How do you know about my class?”

“Well I asked ji-ah.”

“Ohh, what else to do tomorrow tho?”

“We gotta find the young lady some part time work.”
