"Close your mouth. Do you always leave it hanging open like that whenever you're confused?" Gama said, lifting Tera's chin.

The five of them eventually arrived in a city that looked... well, more like an isolated settlement than anything else.

They were led to the place where they would be staying. Before that, however, the five of them were gathered together to introduce their secondary genders to the officials who would be in charge of them.

They sat neatly in their assigned seats as paper and pens were handed out. Whoever finished writing first would introduce themselves first.

"My name is Sky. I'm a Be— Alpha. I used to think I was an Omega," he said uncertainly. Before he could explain himself, the people in front of him could already smell the lie written all over his face.

Sky removed his glasses.

Yan froze.

It was his ex-boyfriend—the one he had left after Sky claimed he was an Alpha, while Yan himself had also been pretending to be an Alpha back then.

Yan immediately looked away.

One of the officials picked up Sky's document.

It stated that Sky had experienced a Late Bloomer awakening.

Although, in reality, no one knew it was merely a fabricated confession. Ever since he was a child, Sky had known he was an Enigma, but he had always felt much more comfortable pretending to be an Omega than a Beta... let alone an Alpha.

Sky bit the temple of his glasses before glancing at Yan.

Yan clicked his tongue.

"My name is Hue Kai. I'm an Alpha. There's absolutely no doubt about it—I'm a real Alpha. You can smell it, can't you? Right? It's obvious because I'm an Alpha."

With complete confidence, Kai handed his documents to the officials.

They read through them.

...The kid had done an impressively thorough job forging everything. He even had a hospital report to support his claim.

Fake, of course.

But nobody knew that.

Kai casually climbed onto Tera's desk and gave him a playful wink.

Tera stared at him in horror with his mouth hanging open once again.

Gama sighed and reached over to close Tera's mouth by lifting his chin.

The officials exchanged whispers.

'Fake.'

'But he's Dev's son.'

"What's your name?"

Hue Kai cupped Tera's cheeks with both hands. Their foreheads gently touched as Kai closed his eyes.

'Blond hair... definitely mixed-race. He's probably so used to physical affection that he can do things like this without hesitation. He even kissed that squirrel on the bus earlier.'

Gama decided not to question Kai's bizarre behavior anymore.

"Yan! Dominant Alpha!" Yan suddenly shouted as he slammed his papers onto the table.

Gama let out a mocking laugh, clearly entertained by Yan's declaration.

Sky continued staring at his Omega with an unreadable, icy gaze.

Meanwhile, the officials immediately ordered Kai to be escorted somewhere else and kept away from Tera, who was still completely confused by Kai's behavior.

"Wow, so you're really an Alpha." Tera clapped happily from his seat.

"Yan. Recessive Omega. His secondary gender was discovered after suffering a fever for three days and three nights. He has already experienced his first heat," answered one of the officials.

It turned out to be his aunt, Yujin.

"Auntie!!" Yan shouted in protest.

"You're ruining my cool image!!" he yelled angrily.

Gama immediately raised his hand.

He introduced himself while presenting both his document and his gender examination report.

"Gama. Alpha. No need to ask so many questions. I'm cool, I have a band, and I keep my hair long because I like Beast's role in Beauty and the Beast—"

Before he could finish speaking, Tera sprayed him with deodorant.

"What are you doing—cough, cough!"

Gama began coughing violently while Tera quickly covered his own nose and lowered his head.

"This princess really is something," Gama said with a smile that barely concealed his irritation.

He walked toward Tera.

Panicking, Tera leaned away and squeezed his eyes shut as their faces grew closer and closer.

"Stay away," Tera muttered.

He wanted to push Gama away but couldn't bring himself to do it because, in his mind, Gama's body was dirty.

"Aaaa!"

"You're actually afraid of touching me," Gama teased.

He grabbed one of Tera's hands and placed it against his own chest.

Tera became even more flustered.

"Well? Is it hard?" Gama asked with a grin.

Tera shut his eyes tightly and shook his head.

If he had been a cat, every single strand of fur—including his tail—would have been standing straight up by now.

"Gama, sit back down," one of the officials ordered.

Gama obeyed, but not before sticking out his tongue with a mocking expression, laughing as he continued teasing Tera.

"What a shame there isn't a knife here. I'd cut your tongue off and make gyutan (grilled beef tongue) out of it..." Tera shot back. His mouth was truly vicious.

Just as he was about to continue arguing, he was told to introduce himself instead.

"Please introduce yourself, son. You're the last one here who hasn't done so."

Truthfully, everyone in the room wanted to escape this chaotic circle.

"My name is Tera. T-E-R-A."

He even spelled it out.

"Dominant Omega. My scent is always noticeable, so I don't think that needs any further explanation. I'm allergic to peaches and soy milk. I don't like sweating because it makes me itchy, and my neck turns red. My mother is a flight attendant, my father is a pilot, I have money, and I'm rich."

A scent is the natural aroma emitted by Alphas and Omegas every day. It is different from pheromones.

"I brought my mother's bank account information. I like warm beds, I like storing food, I don't like picky eaters, and I also don't like someone like him, so I hope we never have to meet again."

Tera pointed directly at Gama, who simply chuckled.

Tera also made sure to write down his hobbies, grade level, age, self-rated handsomeness, favorite foods, foods he disliked, the city he wanted to visit, and even his ideal marriage partner.

"Obviously, I'd marry myself," Tera declared.

"Are all Dominant Omegas this... detailed?" Yan whispered to himself.

"No wonder you're so disgusted by me," Gama said to the shorter boy.

"Scared?" he challenged.

"Shouldn't I be? You're covered in bacteria," Tera answered immediately.

"But you didn't react when that Alpha, Kai, kissed you. Didn't it occur to you that he might have bacteria too? What if he'd just taken some medicine and still had it on his lips?" Gama asked, secretly trying to test him.

"Medicine? He didn't even look sick. If he's handsome, then that means he's healthy," Tera replied matter-of-factly.

The moment he finished speaking, Tera's head suddenly dropped onto the desk.

He fell asleep almost instantly.

Gama's jaw dropped.

Everyone else stared in confusion.

Was this some kind of illness?

Yan covered his mouth in shock.

Sky didn't care.

He acted as though Tera didn't even exist.
