He stood up and shook his head.

Casdee pointed towards the exposed drainage.

"Say, Roger... aren't these toilets missing something?"

Roger followed her finger.

"They're supposed to have a septic tank."

Silence fell between them.

Casdee slowly scanned the construction site.

"There's something else."

Roger looked at her.

"Where are the contractors?"

She folded her arms.

"If this project was still ongoing, someone should've been here."

Her eyes swept across the empty site.

"And how did they know we were coming?"

The question made Roger pause.

Instinctively, he turned around.

"It isn't?"

"Alright, I will get it endorsed."

Izhan glanced at the document.

"Ma'am, is RMT handled by the canteen or the PIBG?"

Krishna smiled, noticing how much his intern had learned.

"In this case, it was handled by Chan directly. The RMT Committee has several arrangements based on the 2020 circular: the canteen, PIBG or a staff family, or PIBG and staff family if there is no canteen."

Izhan looked at the document again.

"So he could bypass the system easily..."

She shook her head.

Krishna touched his chin.
