Dear readers, I will be unavailable until 4th July 2026. As 'Becoming Nazha' is ending, I want to thank all of you for reading my first novel. My second novel will be published in the second week of July 2026.
Honestly, Becoming Nazha taught me a lot as my first novel, so seeing readers enjoy it makes me really happy.
I hope you'll enjoy the second novel too when it comes out in July! It will have a different journey, but I’ll do my best to make it memorable as well ✨
Four distinct personalities, dressed in rich batik patterns and local attire. These are the faces of Nazha’s world—where culture and story come together.
People change, years pass, paths turn differently - but the person you truly are never fades. To see you still the same at heart... that's the most beautiful feeling of all.
"IT DOES NOT ROAR TO BE DESTRUCTIVE—
SOME RAGE ONLY SHATTERS IN SILENCE."
This is Syarah—and this piece hits with every ounce of her pent‑up fury 🥀💥
Art by @sbst.my — he brought every detail to life: the sharp, strained profile, the cracked window glass, the haunting kanji, halftone texture, and that single glowing eye—capturing the quiet, shattering rage she’s held inside for so long. This isn’t loud, reckless anger… It’s the kind of rage that builds until it cracks everything around you, even when you don’t make a sound.
This is the raw, breaking heart of Becoming Nazha: the pain that simmers beneath a calm exterior, the sacrifice that curdles into quiet fury when pushed too far.
Not every breaking point looks dramatic. Sometimes it just looks like another working day.”
This powerful piece by @sbst.my hits so incredibly close to home. 🎨💧
It captures the quiet, heavy exhaustion so many carry—especially teachers: showing up, pushing through, and keeping going… even when you’re barely holding it together. The rain, the sweat, the blank, weary expression—this isn’t just art. It’s the silent struggle behind Becoming Nazha: the weight of caring for everyone else, while your own breaking point looks just like an ordinary day.
SBST absolutely outdid himself with this moody, detailed work—structured, full of atmosphere, and bursting with raw emotion. This is the soul of the story laid bare.
“She smiled so others could breathe easier, while quietly forgetting how to breathe herself.” 😔💧
This stunning piece by @sbst.my captures Nazha’s heart so perfectly—behind every patient lesson, every encouraging smile, and all the care she pours into her students… she carries a quiet, heavy burden all on her own. 🎨🖤
He experimented with new brushes & techniques to bring this moody, raw emotion to life—monochrome halftone, soft glows, and that aching, lonely gaze. This is exactly the soul of what’s coming in Arc 3: we finally see the woman behind the teacher—her struggles, her sacrifices, and the parts of herself she hides to lift others up.
Thank you, SBST, for turning this feeling into art 🫶
"Some teachers do not ask to be understood. They only hope their sacrifices become useful to someone." 💛
This powerful piece by SBST.my captures the quiet, heavy heart of Becoming Nazha perfectly. 🎨✨
It’s not just about lessons in the classroom—it’s about the silent struggles, the unspoken effort, and the sacrifices teachers make just to see their students grow.
This monochrome art hits so deep—every line, every shadow tells a story of dedication no one always sees.
Happy Teacher's Day! The Arc One for 'Becoming Nazha' has reached the end by today. Next is Arc Two, which featured differential learning for the students.
By the way, here is a snippet of my 2nd novel characters for my dear friend SBST; he drew my characters, and now his OCs need a story to be told.
