“What’s wrong? Why are you being so aggressive all of a sudden?”, ying asked.

“Are you asking me why right now? That piece of shit was literally trying to mark you with her pheromones.”

Ying also pretty much guessed that but she was just ignoring Noah’s pheromones till now.

“I also know that. But what could I possibly do? Prof.lee asked me to show her around.”

“The showing around must be done now, right?”

“It's not done but I won’t be doing it anymore so, stop being dramatic.”

“Yeah yeah. Just stay away from that bitch. I swear if she trys anything I’m killing her.”

“Stop shouting nonsense and let's go. Weren’t you in a hurry?”

“Umm, get in the car.”

To be honest, ying was really stressed by Noah’s behavior but sae-byeok’s presence calmed her down. Ying couldn’t help but think why was sae-byeok being so protective and why was she thinking sae-byeok was so calming for her.

Sae-byeok drove to the busy market and parked in front of a restaurant.

“Is this the place?”, ying asked.

“Yes, it is.”, sae-byeok took ying’s hand and made her way inside.

“Hey old man. It's sae-byeok.”

“You brat, you finally remembered this old man, huh?”, Mr.kim, he was sae-byeok’s grandfather.

“I have never forgotten you. By the way, let me introduce. Ying, this is my grandpa. And this is Ying, my… friend.”

“Why would you pause? Are you dating?”

Ying spoke, “You misunderstood sir. We are just friends.”

“You don’t have to call me sir. Just call me like how sae-byeok does. So, its an unrequited love for you brat.”

“Kind of.”

“Come inside, ying. Lets get you familiar to your work. I don’t have much staff here. This place is not too crowded either but don’t worry you will be paid nicely. You just have to take orders and serve the food.”

“Thank you so much, grandpa. I will be working hard.”

“If you wanna thank someone, thank sae-byeok. You can start from tomorrow.”

On the way back home, ying kept thinking how to thank sae-byeok. She also couldn’t stop thinking what her father might do to get her back. They finally got home and ying offered to cook dinner.

“So, this is pad thai. Its a really famous food in Thailand. Try it.”

“Uhm, its really good. Didn’t expect you to be good at cooking.”

“Actually, I wanted to thank you. Sae-byeok, thank you so much everything. I will forever be grateful to you.”

“You’re welcome.”

“Can I ask why would you help me so much? I just don’t get it. All you wanted was sex, right? Do you go to such lengths just for sex?”

“No, I don’t. Its cause I like you, dummy. How could you not catch that?"

“Can you stop joking?”

Suddenly, sae-byeok put on a serious yet reassuring face.

“I am serious. I also couldn’t believe it at first but I really like you. Before you, I hadn’t met anyone who rejected me. Everything you did made me curious about you. Ying, I like you a lot.”

The room was filled with their pheromones. Ying was too stunned. These past few days ying saw a lot of sides of sae-byeok that were attractive. She had also started having feelings for sae-byeok but she was scared that her feelings will be of vain. But hearing sae-byeok’s confession, she felt happy. 

“You know what, I thought you were super annoying in the beginning. But as I grew to learn more about you, I realized you are a really kind person. I guess I also like you.”, ying's face was red. She never thought she could say such things.

Sae-byeok was shocked as hell. She thought that ying would straight out reject her.
