“Why did you call me over?”

“Isn’t that Blair’s voice?” a girl sitting right behind Blair whispered loudly. “And what about the other voice? It’s Jax!”

Within seconds, the entire college was listening to their discussion play out over the intercom. The recording didn't lie.

“Wow, so they cheated and put the blame on Luna. How shameless can someone be?”

The very same people who were praising Blair just moments ago were now openly shaming her. Blair’s face drained of color. She stood up and rushed out of the classroom.

As she ran, the girl sitting behind her shouted to the room, “You guys should be clear—who knows, she might have seduced someone else's boyfriend too!”

The entire class burst out laughing. Blair snapped. She turned back around and slapped the girl hard across the face. The girl fell straight to the floor, coughing. Her friends instantly stood her up, their faces twisted in fury. Before Blair could even react, the girl's friends grabbed Blair by her hair and dragged her forcefully out of the classroom, pulling her all the way to the alleyway behind the campus building. They threw her down and beat her mercilessly. When they were finished, the girl spat on her, turned her back, and walked away.

Blair was left sitting on the dirt floor, bruised, disheveled, and completely drenched with anger. All she wanted was revenge. "I'm going to kill her. That bitch is not gonna get saved from me!” She forced herself to stand up and ran blindly toward the broadcast room.

On the other hand, Jax was still busy soaking up sympathy at the canteen. The moment the broadcast echoed through the cafeteria, every single student stopped eating and stared directly at him.

Jax panicked, his hands shaking. “No, this isn't me! It's fake!”

“Really?” a boy shouted from across the canteen. “How can someone be this shameless? You cheated on her with her best friend and then spread rumors about her? Oh, how do they say it? Birds of a feather flock together!” He laughed loudly, and the entire cafeteria joined in.

Jax’s vision went red with anger. Ignoring their jeers, he rushed out of the canteen toward the room. When did she record this? Huh! Really, now I don't even need to put on an act anymore. I'm gonna teach that bitch a lesson. He aggressively rolled his sleeves up as he stormed down the hallway.

Back in the broadcast room, Alice was looking back and forth between them, completely stunned. “What is happening right now?”

Marina and Luna quickly explained the truth to her. On Jax's birthday, Luna had gone to his house early to surprise him. Instead, she walked in and saw him with Blair. She happened to be on an active phone call with Marina at that exact moment. Since Marina always recorded her phone calls, she saved the audio file.

“I didn't want to do this, but they made me do it now,” Luna said, her voice shaking but firm. “They are the ones at fault, not me.”

With a deep breath, Luna held the microphone closer to her face. “Ahem. Hello, everyone! As you guys have just heard, that recording was taken on the day of Jax’s birthday... when he ditched me to go get his mistress. I hope you guys enjoyed the show.”

Outside in the courtyard, students cheered and shouted back at the speakers. “We enjoyed it, Luna! Woooo!”

“I can hear you guys from here,” Luna laughed into the mic. She pulled the microphone cord further, sitting herself down right on the edge of the broadcast desk. “Now, let's get back to them. Well, well. First, you, Blair. The dress you are wearing right now... do you even know how much it costs? Oh, how would you know? Because I paid for it.”

Blair, who was just arriving in the corridor outside the room, froze dead in her tracks. Every single eye in the hallway fell heavily upon her.

“And from head to toes, everything you own was bought by me,” Luna’s voice echoed brutally through the speakers. “But don't worry, I'm not gonna ask for them back. I'm giving them to you as charity. Now, I think you should just go and lick someone else's sole. Or maybe go find a sugar daddy. I can give you my rich uncle's number if you want. Maybe he'll like you. After all, you clearly have a talent for picking up trash right off the floor.””

Blair stood completely paralyzed in the hallway, her head hanging down. Her eyes filled with hot tears as she clenched her fists, holding onto the revealing dress she had worn to impress people.

“Oh, I think she’s an official pro,” a guy in the hallway mocked, looking Blair up and down. 

“Maybe I can get her for one night.” A wave of disgusting laughter roamed around her.

“She wasn't even rich, she was just stealing from Luna,” a girl whispered nearby. “Hahaha, she’s just like us, but she used to act like she was some spoiled rich brat. You know, even Luna didn't act like that. Look at her now, she looks like a cheap, desperate beggar wearing revealing clothes. Is she here to study or seduce taken men? ”

Blair lunged forward, trying to hit the girl who said it, but the girl's boyfriend stepped in and pushed Blair away roughly. Wiping her tears, Blair ignored the crowds and went straight for the broadcast room door.

“Now it's Jax’s turn,” Luna continued over the microphone, her tone turning ice-cold. “Okay, Jax, I won't say much. I don't want to dirty my tongue by saying your name. You should get ready to move out of that house. That was bought by me, and I'm taking it back. And please, take that furniture with you. I don't want anything that has been touched by both of you. It's disgusting. Gross! Especially, forget about your position at my dad's office. You don't deserve it. You don't deserve it. You’re nothing but a gold-digging fraud who used my name to build a life you could never afford on your own. You wanted to play the victim, but you’re just a parasite.”

Down the hall, students listening to the speakers exchanged stunned looks. The realization that Jax had been using his relationship for financial gain while seeing Blair behind Luna’s back spread quickly through the crowd, replacing their previous admiration with deep disapproval.

“Wow, so he had already planned his entire future on her dime! What a pathetic loser!” a student shouted near the canteen. “He was literally living a free life while acting like a king. He's totally broke without her!”

The atmosphere on campus remained charged as students openly discussed the revelation, pointing and laughing at Jax as he aggressively shoved past them, his face turning an embarrassing shade of dark purple.

People started shouting insults openly at Jax as he stormed past them.

In the classroom, Gilbert was listening to all of this. He leaned back in his chair, a small smirk playing on his lips, and said to his friend, "I came here to study, but here drama is on. I think my life at college is gonna be enjoyable." His friend laughed and nodded, watching the chaos unfold out in the hallways.

“That’s all, the show is off. Go back to your classes,” Luna concluded.

Across campus, students actually clapped and cheered.

Inside the studio, Luna let go of the power switch. But a second later, the heavy door opened with a violent 

THUD.

Luna, Marina, and Alice whipped their heads around toward the entrance, and their faces instantly turned completely pale with fear.
