As we reached the door, Woo-sung hung back, shooting sharp, suspicious glances our way. "You two are acting weird," he muttered, but before he could interrogate us further, senior called his name from down the hallway.
"Woo-sung! Student council meeting Now!"
"Shit," he groaned, checking his watch. "I completely forgot. You guys go ahead . I'll catch up ASAP."He dashed off, leaving Min-jae and me alone in the suddenly quiet hallway. The moment Woo-sung disappeared around the corner, Min-jae turned to me with soft smile that made my heart forget how to beat properly.
"Finally," he breathed, and before I could ask what he meant, he was reaching for me.His hand cupped the back of my neck, fingers threading through my hair, and he leaned in for Quick KISS. This time, there was nothing accidental about it. This kiss was deliberate, purposeful and soft but charged with electricity that sent sparks racing down my spine.
"I've wanted to do this all morning," he whispered. My breath caught in my throat. The hallway suddenly felt too bright, too exposed. Anyone could walk around could see us..teachers, students. The rational part of my brain was screaming warnings, but rest of me was drowning in the warmth of his touch and way he was looking at me like I was something precious.
"Min-jae??" I started, but my voice came out strangled.
"I'm listening... Hoon" His brow furrowed with concern. "...was that not okay?"
"No, it was—" I swallowed hard, trying to find words for the chaos in my chest. "It was perfect. Too perfect."
He smiled, that beautiful, devastating smile. How could I explain that his kiss had awakened something in me that felt too big, too intense, too dangerous for these sterile school hallway?
I looked at him, really looked at him. His tie was slightly crooked. His hair fell across his forehead in a way that always made me want to brush it back. In his eyes, I saw something I'd never seen before. Want. Raw, honest want—to kiss me again, though he didn't dare.
"I am sorry..Min-jae," I whispered, the words tumbling out before I could stop them.He turned, eyebrows furrowed. "What happened? Why are you apologizing?""I..." My pulse thundered in my ears. Heat raced through my veins, and suddenly I couldn't think straight. "I can't control it."
"Control what?"
Without answering, I grabbed his hand and pulled him toward storage room adjacent to the auditorium. My heart was hammering against my ribs as I fumbled with the door handle.
"Ji-hoon?" Min-jae's voice was concerned, confused. "What are you doing??/"
The room was dim, lit only by a small window near the ceiling. The air smelled like lemon cleaning solution. It was probably the least romantic place in the entire school, but as Min-jae turned to face me in the confined space, none of that mattered.
"Hoon?" His voice was soft, worried. "Talk to me. What's going on?"
I pushed him against the wall near the door. "I don't know," I admitted. "I don't know what's happening to me." He was closer now, close enough that I could breathe in his familiar scent, vanilla mixed with something that was purely him. "What do you mean?" he asked.
"I can't—" My voice cracked. "I can't control myself anymore."
His eyes widened, pupils dilating as he understood. "Hoon..!?"
"I am..." I whispered, leaning closer until our faces were inches apart, "... I'm about to do something that I can't take back And I need you to know that I also want to..."
His breath hitched. "Here?!"
Instead of answering, I pressed my lips to his collarbone very fast, just above the edge of his collar. But this damn uniform stiff fabric kept getting in the way, brushing against my mouth and stealing the heat of his skin from me. With a soft, impatient sigh, I slid my fingers down to the buttons of his shirt. One slipped free, then another, until a strip of warm white skin peeked through—the elegant line of his throat, the dip where his collarbones met. I leaned in, hungry, my lips finally claiming the bare skin that had been teasing me all along.
If you ask me why I chose his collarbone over his lips, it's because my body had already subconsciously decided that his vanilla scent is strongest near neck, and the ridges of his Clavicles looked so white and sexy that I couldn't put it into words.
"Hoon," he gasped, his hands coming up to tangle in my hair. "What are you—mmph...."
"I don't know," I admitted against his skin. "I just know I need to touch you. I need to taste you."
I moved higher, kissing spot where his neck met his jaw. There was nothing but the taste of him, the warmth of his hands, the soft sounds he made whenever I kissed sensitive spot just below his ear. I lost myself in the sensation of finally, finally being able to touch him the way I'd been secretly wanting to.
When we finally broke apart, we were both breathing hard. His hair was mussed from my fingers, his lips red and swollen, and there was something wild and beautiful in his eyes that made my stomach flip.
"God," he breathed, his head falling back against the wall. "I didn't know you were like this." "Like what?" I asked, pulling back his head to look at him. His cheeks were flushed, his lips parted, his eyes dark with want.
"Bold. Confident." His hands moved to my waist, pulling me closer. "I like it."
That was all the encouragement I needed. I crashed my lips against his, kissing him with everything I had—all the fear, the longing, the desperate need I'd been holding back for years. He responded immediately, his lips opening under mine, his tongue finding mine in a dance that made my knees weak again and again.
"Is this okay?" I whispered against his lips, even as my hands roamed his back, pulling him closer.
"More than okay," he managed, then pulled me into another deep kiss that made stars explode behind my eyelids. We kissed until we were both breathless, until I lost track of time and space and everything except the feeling of his hands in my hair and his body pressed against mine.
"We should ..." he started, then trailed off as I brushed a strand of hair from his forehead.
"should what?"
"Get to class," he finished, but he made no move to step away from me. If anything, he seemed to be memorizing my face, his gaze tracing over every feature like he was trying to commit this moment to memory."I don't care about class," I murmured against his skin. "I only care about this. About you."
"I keep thinking I'm going to wake up from this dream," I admitted, my fingers playing with the his waist. "Like this is too good to be real.""If it's a dream, I don't want to wake up," he replied, pressing his soft lips to mine.
He chuckled while kissing, the vibration pressing against my lips. We might have stayed in that storage closet forever, lost in whispered conversations and stolen kisses, if not for the sound of footsteps in the hallway outside. We sprang apart like we'd been burned, both of us suddenly remembering where we were.We both were panting, our uniforms wrinkled, our hair mussed.
"Shit," I whispered, trying to smooth down my hair "What time is it?".Min-jae checked his watch and winced. "We're fifteen minutes late." "Fifteen minutes?" I stared at him in horror. "Ms. Park is going to kill us." "Not if we have a good excuse," he said, but he was already moving toward the door."What excuse could possibly explain fifteen minutes?"
"Unforeseen complications," he said promptly. "The yoga mats were stuck together with... strong adhesive. Very stubborn adhesive."
I stared at him. "That's the worst lie I've ever heard."
"You have a better one?"
I opened my mouth, then closed it. "No."
"First , we need to fix ourselves up" Min-jae said.
"Oh god !," I said, suddenly aware of how I must look. "Woo-sung,he's probably wondering where we went.""Woo-sung's the least of our worries," Min-jae said, straightening his tie.
