The group is escorted by the two guards. Topknot introduced himself as 'Hyle' while Ponytail spoke his name as 'Ruul'. Seff says to Akhmin, "I find it conspicuous that these two are so different looking... and yet... they're brothers." Hyle had no feathers growing upon his ears, his head was clean-shaven with a slight patch on each side of the long-crested mane he had flowing the middle of his head. His eyes were orange while Ruul's were a semi-dark mint green. Both brothers' ears had two sharp ends lining the cartilege of the upper apex. They looked like a mutated fae's ears, alien in nature. Akhmin stated, "I believe these are a species of poultrice named the 'Vulkh'.
Seff's ears perk up at Akhmin's inspection. "You mean... like us?" Akhmin nods but re-iterates with better summary, "Not entirely our species, they were cultivated and nurtured primarily to become assassins... guards... beings who are made to serve." He looks over to a slug-like being. They were humanoid with only two arms, a salamander tail, and four leku atop their head. Their skin was darkened in a blue tone and their patterns, a lime green. Their green trails lit up everytime they'd smile and dither as they'd see a customer leave. Akhmin whispers to Seff under his breath, pointing subtly at the slug, "They are a species called 'Slivarr'. Much like the Vulkh, they too, were 'nurtured' but they weren't grown like the other one. These were contracted as butlers and servants. The only ones who are entirely 'free' are the ones here, in Termigann. This is their home." Seff gives a saddened expression on their face from this information. "I see..."
As everyone passes a large cave, crystallized all over from the inside, Alex notices out of the corner of his eye a Slivarr. She was female. A lighter midnight blue than a male. Her markings were orange, dotted along several tentacle-like appendages that enclosed on what looked to be pulpy, glowing sacs. They seemed to be her young, protected by her own body. She danced in the dark, mists rising and moving with her four arms in the sauna of the rocky waters. Staring long enough, her antennae twitched and she glanced at him to which he blushed and hurried along back toward the group. He felt his heart beat calmly lower its sound as he moved on from the cavern.
As the group passes countless shops and food stalls, Zyphon continues watching every wolf-like being in the vicinity. There was an open field surrounded by walls of tall rock. The sun was designated specifically within this enclosed valley. Several trees thrived here while bushes lined a sectioned patch in front of a large temple in the shape of a small pyramid ruin. It was the home of several beings that looked like meerkats.
Achiin set his eyes upon all of them. They were tall, even taller than his father who was around 6 feet. Many of them were orange or brown with an inner patch of shortened fur that was inverted. Their markings were that of their pelt and were mostly zigzags or stripes. Their fur shot out like points of a star on their joints such as their shoulders and their spine. None were fluffy, only shapely and skinny. Their tails stayed ever-still as their ears pointed backward in triangular fashion. Some of them were rounded with dark ends.
After surveying the surrounding people, Achiin stopped and gleefully yelped at Akhmin. "Are they... are they Kymera?? Are they like me??!" Akhmin nods and smiles. "Yes. These are your partial ancestors. Rather than your direct ancestors, they are--" Achiin storms off running toward the patches of berries. Akhmin shakes his head in defeat. He looks at Seff, "Will you please go take care of your brother..." Seff nods and unfurls his wings to float over to him.
Akhmin gestures Alex over. "Come... we need to meet the chieftain..." Alex walks with him. As they do, Zyphon meets their sensors with several beings that look like werewolven hyena muts in a cold and narrow alleyway entrance to the west of theirs. They are all wearing the same aesthetic of outfit as the ones before near the elevator. One is smoking a straight metal pipe. Its contents spiral toward the air in a dark green mist and dissipates. They growl, "Looks like we have company..." he flicks the metal tube to the ground. It slowly corrodes the grass surrounding it but dries before bursting into wildfire. He steps out of the shadows, revealing his spiking, darkened, crimson-pink fur. As the others group up behind him, he takes a large bronzed hammer and holds it over his shoulder. It has slits emanating an ethereal, possibly toxic, sea green steam from its core.
The dog-like figure swishes his tail one last time as he speaks again, "So... numen... are you watching?"
