Ella & Austin 

For context: they are besties, but Austin is in love with her, but she doesn’t know. + Ella just broke up with Connor because she caught him cheating on her. 

• Both so blackout drunk they don’t remember having sex together. 

• Ella gets pregnant, but this is only found out later. She does not know that Austin is the father, instead obviously thinking it is Connor’s. Austin was also so drunk he does not remember, but steps up to take care of Ella and her pregnancy anyway. 

• Ella mad at Connor 

• Does something stupid/ crazy to get back at him for cheating. 
• This escalates to Connor being really mad, and Austin defending her when it is about to get physical. 

• Ella finds out she is pregnant

• Thinks it is Connor’s. 
• Asks him to get back together and to help with it, but he refuses. 
• Ella has conflicting feelings about being pregnant, as she can’t even take care properly of herself or even her plants. 
• Struggles with thought of being a single mom, but too late for abortion.
• Austin helps her with everything and they grow even closer through it. 

• Complication with pregnancy and confession

• Scary moment with pregnancy, but ends well. 
• Austin is there for her 
• This moment of nearly losing her triggers him to finally confess his feelings for her and officially says he is willing to step up and be a dad to this child even though it is not his (even tho it is, they just don’t know it yet)

• Connor comes back and says he has changed

• Actually he just needs her money and is willing to be a dad to be a part of her rich family for that. 
• Ella is conflicted, because she wants the baby to have a relationship with its biological father, but she hates him and already has Austin by her side as support and best friend and maybe considering feelings for Austin now that he has confessed. 

• Ella confides in Amy at her bar 

• Ella tells Amy about Connor and Austin stepping up, and her conflicting feelings.
• Ella says it has been such a long time since she was there last she doesn’t even remember it. 
• Amy reminds her of her last time there, blackout drunk with Austin making out and leaving together. This plants the seeds of thinking maybe the baby isn’t Connor’s. And she starts to vaguely remember that night. 

• Finding out Austin is the real father

• Ella and Austin try to piece together how far they actually went that night they got blackout drunk as neither remembers it clearly. 
• Take a paternity test and find out Austin is the real father. 
• Ella turns down Connor’s offer to get back together and tells him he is not the father. 
• Ella accepts Austin’s feelings, even though she isn’t sure she has the same level of feelings for him as he has for her, but she doesn’t want to be alone. 
• The end.
