Sky was already annoyed. He couldn't get any alone time with Yan. He had assumed Tera would skip PE class, but somehow, the kid was already standing on the field.

"Have mercy!"

The soccer team was practically screaming in fear.

They had originally refused to let Tera join the team, only to finally let him in and then stick him on the bench.

That was enough to make Tera furious.

He grabbed one of the players and lifted him off the ground, making it very clear who was the strongest person on the field.

After struggling to deal with Tera for what felt like forever, the team finally gave up and switched Tera's position with the midfielder.

Yan immediately protested.

"Why does he get to be the midfielder?!"

Tera shot him a murderous glare.

Yan fell silent.

"Haaah..."

As the Libero, Yan took his position in defense, already feeling like Tera was going to become his biggest burden.

"We can do this. Come on, guys!"

The goalkeeper tried to calm everyone down, and eventually, they started practice.

Kai watched from the sidelines, cheering Tera on.

Meanwhile, Gama sat beneath a tree, recording Tera playing soccer on his phone.

He had already prepared bottles of water for both Tera and Kai.

"We can handle him... right?"

At first, they were confident they could handle Tera. But it turned out Tera chased the opposing team around like a mother hen protecting her chicks.

"Aaaa!"

The opposing players panicked and scattered. Tera had no problem tackling them, body-slamming them, and sometimes turning into a charging bull, sending ten opposing players straight into the goal.

"Put them down, you midget!" their own goalkeeper shouted.

Tera immediately charged at him.

Yan hurriedly snatched the ball away from Tera, only for Tera to chase after it, grab it with his hands, and stuff it under his shirt.

"Don't take my ball!!"

Now Yan was the one being chased by Tera, who had the ball hidden under his shirt. Yan ran for his life, especially after seeing those ridiculous muscles coming straight at him.

"Hey! That's the ball, Tera!" Gama shouted when he saw the ball fall out from under Tera's shirt.

Yan quickly kicked it away.

"Goal."

Tera sprinted toward the goal and started cutting the net with a pair of scissors.

"Why did you bring scissors?! That's cheating!" Yan shouted, hiding the ball behind his back.

"What kind of game are you even playing?" Sky muttered. Just watching this was exhausting.

"Huh?"

Sky suddenly lost focus when he noticed Yan. Tera had dropped the scissors and was now charging toward Yan, who was still hiding the ball.

Tera lifted Yan off the ground and shoved him straight into his own goal.

"Goal!" Gama shouted excitedly, clapping as he praised Tera.

"What kind of game is this?! Tera!!" Yan yelled in frustration.

"Again," Tera said enthusiastically.

Thump.

His teammates—and even the opposing team—shook their heads in unison.

Gulp.

"Aaaa!!"

They screamed when they saw Tera approaching, clearly preparing to throw them into the goal.

"Get me away from that muscular Hello Kitty!" they screamed in terror.

"Prrrt!"

The PE teacher came running over after finally escaping the bathroom. Tera had locked him inside earlier, and he had only just managed to get out.

"Break," the teacher gasped, completely out of breath.

"Let's take a break."

Tera happily led them toward a cooler area. But the moment he turned around—

"Run!!"

His teammates scattered.

Even the teacher ran away.

Everyone except Yan, who could only sigh.

Sky quickly grabbed a cold drink for Yan and pressed it against his sore back.

"Does it hurt?" Sky asked.

"That's a question you probably shouldn't be asking."

Sky immediately helped him up and guided him to a seat.

Tera lowered his head, looking dejected as he watched everyone run away from him.

"Drink?"

Kai pressed his cold drink against Tera's cheek.

"Thank you."

Tera immediately took it and drank.

Kai wiped the sweat from Tera's face with his palm.

"Hahaha, you don't have to do that," Tera said with a small smile.

Crack.

Gama crushed the soda can in his hand.

He was desperately trying to suppress his irritation. He was always one step behind Kai.

"Ugh."

Tera immediately covered his nose when he caught the strong scent of Gama's Alpha suppressing his pheromones.

"Go away," Gama said coldly.

He snatched Kai's drink from Tera and splashed it straight into Kai's face.

Kai only laughed, wiping the drink from his face.

"Leave. Now."

"No."

Kai stubbornly shoved both hands into his pockets.

"What are you doing, Gama? Ugh."

Gama's scent spread through the area, becoming strong enough that even Yan couldn't stand it.

Sky, the Enigma, could smell it too. It had no effect on him, but if Sky were an Alpha, he would have been affected as well.

'So he's a Dominant Alpha, not a Recessive one,' Sky thought.

Apparently, Gama had been hiding the strength of his scent all this time.

"That stinks!" Tera shouted, looking like he was about to throw up.

His cheeks turned red, and his own scent began to spread.

Sky saw the situation getting out of control and immediately snapped Gama out of it.

"Stop. You could make Tera go into Heat."

Gama stopped.

But something was strange.

Kai hadn't reacted at all.

"Not working, huh?" Gama grinned. "Are you even an Alpha? You can't smell my scent? You're a Beta, aren't you? You haven't reacted at all."

He grinned wider.

If Kai was a Beta, then that meant Beta should stick with Beta.

"Can you move away?" Gama demanded.

"No," Kai stubbornly replied.

"Fine, then."

Gama grabbed Tera and pulled him along.

If he couldn't make Kai leave, then Tera was the one who had to get away.

The next day, Kai couldn't stop smiling when he received a letter from Tera. Tera had asked him to meet up.

He invited Kai to go for a walk and asked for permission for the two of them to leave the dorm for a little while.

Kai immediately dressed up as neatly as possible. Tera had only asked for permission to go out for an hour, so Kai put on his perfume and wore the nicest outfit his father had sent him.

Tera asked him to meet at the park. Kai arrived early and kept taking deep breaths. It felt strangely awkward. This was the first time Tera had ever responded to his feelings.

"Hello."

Tera greeted him as he got off a school bicycle, a sandwich between his teeth.

Kai tried to steady his racing heart before handing Tera a basket of flowers.

Tera accepted it.

For a moment, Kai genuinely believed Tera had asked him on a date. And technically, he had.

Tera took him to a nearby food stall and bought him something to eat.

Kai eagerly dug in, happily finishing everything Tera gave him.

Then, right in the middle of his meal, Tera suddenly spoke.

"Hey, could you stay away from me?"

Kai froze.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

His appetite suddenly disappeared. So this was what the whole thing had been about?

"I belong to Gama now. Could you stay away from me for his sake? I want him to feel comfortable."

Kai let out a bitter laugh.

"No."

"I don't care if you belong to Gama, Jeno, or even Lee Min Ho. I'm not staying away from you!"

Kai's expression changed so suddenly that Tera immediately felt guilty. He looked genuinely furious.

"Then... can I still be second?" Kai asked, still trying to find a way.

But Tera looked up at him.

"But the rules of this world are built around monogamy. I don't want that."

"Hahaha! I don't care!" Kai snapped. "Who made that rule anyway? Rules are meant to be broken!"

"Do you really think I'm going to give up? Do you think I'll be satisfied just because you gave me this?! You think that's enough for me? I want you!" he shouted.

"I'll get you eventually. Just give me a chance. Give me a little space to be with you. I can be your side piece. I can be whatever you need me to be, even if I'm only someone you use, as long as I have a place beside you. You're the only person who's ever made me focus on nothing but you."

But Tera simply walked away.

Someone was waiting for him.

Gama.

Even with the glasses, Kai recognized him immediately.

"Gama!!"

Kai clenched his fists.

"Just you wait."
