The school Idol is too dense for love

Chapter 11: The Wolf Pack and the Chaos Catalyst

Chapter 11: The Wolf Pack and the Chaos Catalyst

Oct 05, 2026

The moment they cleared the main lockers, Huawei dragged Yue into the girls' restroom by her wrist, slamming the heavy door shut behind them. Her face was still burning a dark, furious pink, and her usual majestic composure was completely shattered. Standing beneath the high-velocity hand dryer, she aggressively wrung out the damp edges of her uniform jacket while using paper towels to franticly dry her purple hair.
"Yue!" Huawei fussed, her voice tightly strained over the roar of the machine. "Your physical positioning in the courtyard completely corrupted my field test! Your sudden intrusion threw off my ability to logically assess the situation, leaving my respiratory metrics experiencing unscientific spiking!"
Yue leaned against the row of porcelain sinks, casually chewing a piece of gum as she watched her best friend fuss. She let out a cheerful laugh. "Lu, I literally saved your life out there. Your brain looked like it was about to leak out of your ears under Chen's umbrella. Besides, if I didn't jump in and break the tension, you would have melted right into the pavement."
Huawei huffed, tossing a crumpled paper towel into the bin and aggressively flattening her tilted ribbon. "I would not have melted. I was merely processing a highly unpredictable variable. The 'friends first' approach carries a heavy data deficit. We are leaving the restroom now, Yue. Please maintain standard trailing distance."
## Scene 2: The Hunger of the Wolves
Once dried and slightly more composed, Huawei pushed open the restroom door and marched back out into the bustling main corridor to retrieve her books for the next period.
The moment her vibrant purple hair stepped into view, the entire hallway layout shifted. Dozens of male classmates—still hyper-aware of the morning downpour—instantly froze. Within three seconds, a massive crowd of popular guys, sports club members, and upperclassmen swarmed her path, thrusting out dry towels, school jackets, and warm thermoses of tea like a desperate wall of suitors.
Yue stood half a step behind Huawei, taking in the chaotic sight of twenty high school boys practically tripping over their own feet just to get a glance from the school idol. 'Wow, look at them,' Yue thought to herself, a mischievous smirk spreading across her lips. 'They’re like a pack of hungry wolves circling a piece of meat.'
Suddenly, a brilliant, chaotic idea sprouted in Yue's mind. She didn't want to help Huawei escape; she wanted to see the boys go absolutely feral. Shifting into full agent-of-chaos mode, Yue cupped her hands around her mouth, gasped dramatically, and shouted at the top of her lungs for the entire hallway to hear:
"Oh no! Huawei still has a tiny bit of rainwater on her cheek! She said she will reward the first person to wipe her off!"
The hallway dropped into a dead, suffocating silence for a fraction of a second. Every single boy's eyes widened to the size of saucers, their brains processing the ultimate, legendary shortcut to winning the school idol's heart.
"WHAT?!" Huawei screamed, her clinical logic instantly vaporizing as her head whipped around to stare at Yue in absolute, horrified shock.
But it was too late. The hungry wolves had been unleashed.
"Step aside! The reward is mine!" the track star yelled, charging forward with a dry handkerchief.
"Out of the way, you punks! I have premium silk tissues!" a student council representative roared, diving through the air.
"Huawei, let me wipe it! I'm clean!" a third boy shrieked, throwing his sports bag into a locker as he scrambled across the floor.
The corridor erupted into absolute madness. Boys were aggressively pushing, shoving, and physically wrestling each other out of the way, creating a chaotic human dogpile as they fiercely competed to be the one to deploy the legendary Thumb Wipe Trope.
Huawei stood entirely frozen against her locker, clutching her school bag against her chest like body armor as she watched the literal high school riot unfolding in front of her. She looked at the screaming boys, then at a thoroughly satisfied Yue who was casually snapping a picture of the madness on her phone.
Scene 3: The Safe Zone
Using the chaotic wrestling match as a human distraction, Huawei grabbed Yue's sleeve and sprinted down the opposite corridor, sliding through the classroom doors just as the final warning chime rang. She practically dove into her desk by the window, panting heavily as she tried to force her heart rate back down to a stable baseline.
Once the teacher walked in and the room settled into silence, Huawei cautiously pulled her leather-bound notebook out of her bag. Her fingers were still trembling slightly from the hallway adrenaline.
She looked up, her ruby eyes automatically scanning the rows ahead. Sitting three desks down was Chen, casually chatting with a classmate. As if sensing her gaze, Chen turned his head around. He caught her eye and gave her a soft, slightly sheepish smile, clearly remembering how they had shuffled down the hallway in a cramped triangle earlier.
Huawei’s face instantly flushed a faint pink again. She aggressively slammed her eyes down toward her blank page, hiding behind her purple bangs as she pressed her pen to the paper.
With a fierce, flustered determination, she scribbled a fresh entry: 'Note to self: The "Friends First" variable possesses a secondary psychological threat matrix. Third-party instigators (Yue) have successfully corrupted the baseline crowd metrics. Must identify an immediate method to regulate Chen's sudden smiling patterns before my focus reaches zero percent.'
From the desk beside her, Yue leaned over, propping her chin on her hand with a massive, victorious grin. She whispered, "So, Lu... did you log that as a tactical victory too?"
Huawei didn't look up, her pen digging into the paper. "Quiet, Yue. You are currently suspended from the research division."
