Today I've got another extra fact for all those who do not speak Polish (or for those people from Poland who never thought about checking it out). Let's talk about Sambor's name!
Sambor (for females “Samboja”) - is an old, traditional slavic (here: Polish version) name that is made from two word. “Sam” (“Alone”) + “bor” (“fight”).
So simply “Sambor” is “the one who fights alone”.
Next week we will look into girl's name. Yes!
