It's been a minute. I have some BIG news for this series~! Not only will it finally return now (since I'll be wrapping up The Grave You Made final arc and all the promised artwork for that), August Wright will also be getting special treatment.  TA~DA~

We're getting a promotional manhwa of the prologue!!! I'm super stoked that I got to work with one of MY favourite Korean manhwa artists! The stunning artwork is done by THE amaizng Juhan[주한] (which you may recognize as the artist behind the hit manhwa 'Half of Me'). There will be a few language versions besides English and Korean (Spanish being one, plus a few others by request, working with local native speakers for fluid translation). 

But I'm also here to share some of the behind-the-scenes of the making of the promo, hehe. It started off with me info dumping on the poor artist, who (the sweetest she is) took the time to read it in detail and ask about August and Oliver's relationship, their motives, the plot details - all so she could get the emotions across in so few panels (which, in my opinion, she nailed it). But because the prologue was a very wordy monologue, she asked me how I would like it portrayed. So, due to the 13 hour time difference, I sent a very sleep-deprived scribble storyboard:

Which, thankfully, she understood my quick doodle and my scribbled Hangul very well and responded back quite fast with a cleaner layout xD

This was the sneak peek I wanted to show you all to get you excited for what's to come. This work means so much to me because it takes place in Toronto, Canada. I thought it was such a cool setting for a regresison/save-the-world story (especially since I grew up reading Kelly Armstrong's supernatural series set in my home province of Ontario, Canada).
