Long story short (if you’ve seen the video, but if you haven’t that’s cool too!) I am so incredibly grateful to have this experience on Tapastic. This is such a loving and creative community. People are so kind and wonderful and it makes me so happy to be a part of it. Regardless of how long I continue to make comics, I’m glad I started with that one silly little comic. It’s really opened up my horizons. During this past school year, little bit awkward was honestly some of the only drawing I did because I was so busy. I’m thankful that I got to meet so many of you guys as a result. People, continue to be amazing human beings. Create, draw, laugh, don’t be afraid to cry, be humble, and have hope! None of us are perfect. I struggle with being sad and depressed a lot of the time, but I try my best to be optimistic. Some of you guys have real pain and hurt. This past week especially, there’s been a lot of hurt in the world. This world is broken, but regardless if you are religious or not, I think it’s our duty to love other human beings the way they are. For me, I’m a Christian. I believe in God’s love, and I want to try to show that love to others through things like this comic, or being kind or helpful. Whatever you believe or don’t believe, I hope you can at least love and respect other people’s beliefs and just love on others. I want people to know that they are loved and wanted because it’s so true even though it’s hard to believe at times.
So to wrap up this rambly paragraph, thank you. Thank you for opening up a world I never even imagined. Have a great day today, and thanks for making this last year so amazing!
