Dilka was running through the streets with some papers in her hands; the team was waiting for her. When she arrived, Jeongin reached a few minutes later.
‘Did you bring what I asked?’
‘Sure, Rowan, take it.’ Dilka expressed and gave it.
‘What are we gonna do? About that chaos’.
‘That´s not our problem, not for now’.
‘I think we should do something, come on Rowan’.
‘No, Jeongin, right now, there are people who want to ask the government about Kim’s information, and on the other hand, there are people who want to be after us.’
‘How can this be possible?’
‘It’s simple, we don’t know how exactly, but the singer Sujung is dead, and some mafia too; they fight each other, so they didn’t have to take the responsibility, and fight with more cartels, so they decide to blame us.’
Paulina was desperately scratching her head, watching the information, and noticing if there was something to rescue. ‘Look, they don’t stop blaming us’.
The reporter was asking some questions to the person in charge of the city.
‘Please, sir, could you explain to us who these people are?’
‘We do not know much about it, but we hope to find them. Now, thanks to them, there will be a war between some mafia lines, and they probably killed Mister Sujung; we’re really sorry. What we heard of them is a man with a black suit and pink glasses, a purple woman, another woman with a blue coat, and a black man with a bucket.’
‘Hey! Sir Chun Moo-hyun! What are…’
‘That’s all what I needed to say, thank you!’
‘Fucking bastard!’ screamed Paulina.
‘Ok, that’s new,’ Rowan dictated.
Paulina changed the channel, but it was a funeral of Sujung’s singer, and all the people around him were praying for justice.
Rowan started to analyze every paper and write the most important facts, the directions, and other details to know about these people. The only thing they know, the singer was around local people, and other mafia, even the government.
Rowan took a long breath, ‘Is this everything you got?’
‘Yes, the driver couldn’t share more. When I saw it, I was imagining you could do something, but we can find it later’.
The problem was worse; the team suspected that in that place, Sujung was killed, but they needed to know who did it, to demonstrate to Jeongin how his government really is, and to save their reputation as beginners.
‘Don’t worry guys, we’ll find something, and gonna clean our names, I swear,’ Jeongin affirmed.
‘About that? Do you have our names?’ asked Paulina.
‘Sure, for Rowan, Outlaw in space, for Dilka, Murky whisper, for you, every tear counts, and for me, 그림자별 (Geurimja-byeol).
‘Cool, but why I’m—?’
‘And team’s name?’ asked Rowan, turning his view to Jeongin.
‘Deep opportunity,’ Dilka replied.
‘Oh really, why?’ Paulina.
‘That’s a great question, not Jeongin? He wanted to be “A great opportunity or a great opportunity for tomorrow,” but I recommended changing it. First, it’s a longer, longer name for four people, and another thing, big opportunity sounds so simple, deep… looks like a pure piece of art.’ Dilka explained and kissed her fingers.
The group was celebrating, but Paulina noticed something else in the news, and she asked them to be quiet. When they pay attention, they hear: “What is more, we want to report, after the disaster some days ago, we notice some people we’ve been kidnapping for so long time, some of them were convinced to work here, and others for escaping from their country, but now, thanks to Mude wi-e, and yutopia-jeok eojo they’re saved. These sarpionist saved them from the destruction.”
‘By some people, they referred to Lâm’s people, isn´t it? begged Jeongin.
‘Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck’em all these—’ Paulina shouted.
Rowan was calm and asking her to be quiet, whilst Jeongin was rubbing the floor, trying to spread his anger to the environment, but compared to Paulina, he seemed like a child playing with toys.
‘Ok, can we do something else? Rowan recommended.
The news were still turn on, and they continue, now the two sarpionist Mude wi-e, and yutopia-jeok eojo, talked, “We would like to invite these people to stop doing that, and let it to us or the law, there’s a reason why we are the chosen ones, and this destruction… is the outcome why not everyone should be a sarpionist, the do not know how to behave”.
Paulina was showing her veins popping and punching her hand into a fire fist; all the team was surprised by that sudden reaction. Dilka pointed to Rowan the glass of water; he picked it up, and put Paulina’s hands in it, and left it like lightning.
The fire was over, but Paulina was babbling nonsense, scratching her head so violently, ‘fire, fire, fire, control…myself’.
‘Ok, I think it’s enough news for you,’ Jeongin added and turned off the TV with his gadgets.
‘By the way, who were they?’ asked Rowan to Paulina.
‘Fucking mude wi was a woman with an orange blouse, grey pants and black crown, and fucking yutopia uses red armor, grey wings and yellow hair. All of them can suck my—’.
‘Hey, how did you do that? Jeongin,’ demanded Dilka.
‘I hacked her house some days ago,’ Paulina said with dark, squinted eyes. ‘When I was here, of course, I didn’t invade your privacy. Furthermore, it’s easy; I’m still learning more about this.’
‘And thanks for that; it’s the reason every fucking country forbids and hunts people who are born with that power, the forbidden power’.
‘I know, I know, don’t remind me that what I do is legal,’ everyone was looking at him so serious, waiting for being honest. ‘Ok, I make my best, but every cop does that or they can’.
‘You know what else they can do like us? Killing people, ’ Dilka reported.
‘Stop!’
Some days ago.
Sujung Myórtsiche was going to enter the exact temple; the deep opportunity did, in the estuaries, but he took another path; he stopped when no one was seeing him, and activated a communicator.
‘Hey Eun-ju, can you hear me?’
‘Hi Sujung, I can hear you. Are you there?’
‘Yes, but I feel chills, damn! Do you know where I’m? People from the government are here, politics; Eun-ju, they are here! And I’ve already helped you with that control and entertainment information.’
‘Sujung, please, calm down. Everything is going to be fine; In-ha is going to appear soon’.
‘Just remember the plan: join them and record everything; it’s more important if someone from the regimen is talking. We’re already know they want to manipulate us with entertainment, but we need that evidence.’
Bubbles from the water were emerging, sounding like a submarine or boat getting close.
‘I’ll report you later; I think In-ha is here’.
Sujung went to see what it happends; he didn’t see anything, so his legs were trembling like old branches. ‘In-ha, is it you?’ and continued walking so slowly, watching every corner.
He saw there were bubbles in the water; he didn’t know In-ha had a submarine or something until he saw it. A humanoid creature whose skin is so wrinkled that it looks as though it might fall off, but this is because its body never got used to the water. A black creature, with long strands of seaweed that prevent it from leaving the water.
‘What the fuck is that?’
That monster was gargling, and its smell was of wet plants.
Sujung started to run faster, but he slipped. The beast tried to climb the quay, but the seaweeds couldn’t let him catch it. So he tried to destroy it.
Just in time, the person In-ha was arriving in a boat, with hair and black eyes, the local person who was there in case Sujung was discovered. He was armed like his men. Moreover, he didn’t see it, but the quay was already destroyed, and Sujung was in the water.
Sujung stood up and tried to climb it; he was screaming for help, ‘Please! Someone! The beast is coming for me!’
Some men of Hải and Shuogon’an listened to him and ran to see what was really happening.
The monster was drowning Sujung; some seaweeds were covering his body, and his hands were in his head, but the idol singer couldn’t say much; his screamers were stopping, and the only movement was his shaking hands.
‘Sujung! Sujung! Please resist!’ his friend expressed when he saw a disturbance in the water.
The vandals were joined; they tried to help Sujung, but one of them was dragging to the water by the creature’s seaweeds. When they noticed In-ha was getting closer, they stopped the rescue and abandoned Sujung to the beast.
They see each other with disgusting face, and the criminals start to shoot at them. In-ha returned the shots, but when they saw more people were coming, they retreated; he planned to rescue one person, not to fight against an army.
In-ha doesn’t even care about the fire when they were returning; he was watching his corpse, without paying attention to anything else, even his life. His eyes were red, but he didn’t want to show any tears in front of his men.
One week ago
‘Are you sure this is gonna work?’
‘Sujung, there’s nothing to be scared of; I’ll be there for you’.
The idol singer was gazing at Eun-ju. ‘I can’t believe you convinced me to do that’
‘You’re so calm, even more than me. I can ruin this plan easily, and everything will fall. I know you’re scared, Sujung, but believe me, you’re the only one who can do this, and we're gonna make them pay; just remember what these people did to us’.
Sujung was taking a long breath. ‘Ok, just this: because of you, my friend, this is more for you than my country. Just don’t tarnish my reputation; I still want to be an Idol’.
In-ha was listening to the conversation, but he didn’t interrupt and let them share a hug before the mission.
Today
His men asked him if he was okay, but didn’t stop looking at Sujung’s corpse, even from so far, and he whispered. ‘Now, we’ll start again’.
