Alex walks toward the chieftain. The Kymerin stares at his presence calmly. As Akhmin holds his tired son close, Seff and Elkhra stay under a vivid red-leafed tree. Nilin and Riddik are tending to the other Kymera, socializing to keep fear and panic at bay. As Nilin looks over to the Chief, his eyes, too, see a form beyond that of a Kymerin. He rubs his eyes a bit and shakes his head to see a second time and it's gone.
The Chief Kymera thunks his spear on the ground in attention to Alex's abrupt arrival. He awaits Alex's voice. Rather than speak, Alex is moving his mouth but saying nothing in front of the others. Akhmin's eyes widen in confusion. He can feel the reverberations and resonance of the wind coming from his vocal chords but he couldn't hear one wave of sound. Only silence crept from Alex's mouth to him. The Kymera chief, in reply, also spoke absolute nothing and yet, still, there was resonance, a vibration from the neck.
As the others are confused as to why they can't hear the two, the chief and Alex have a conversation only they can comprehend. Alex speaks first to the chief. He told him, "You're from my dream... that dog." The chief snorts out some air from his slitted nostrils and replies, "I'm not a dog..." His form, the Kymerin bristled fur he dons, raises. "Please... follow me..." He motions his hand, "It is best not to speak here." Alex twinges a brow.
They both approached a tech-defined relic door. It opened in front of them via an inverted, triangular glowing sensor that clicked when he approached. They both walked through the ruin entrance, but as the rectangular runic locks shuttered, A silent entity ran through. Almost no trace or trail. Grey dust wafted outward while the indented lining sparked white across the walls like a pulse. This left the group puzzled. Akhmin cocks his head a bit as Achiin starts to wake up. "Oh h-hey vathi..." Akhmin pets his head slowly, holding him close, "Hey there, finch... just... rest ok..." He shakes his head thinking, now, about the future of his training...
The Chief Kymerin shakes down their coat within the ruins, stressed, and twitches one of their ears. He finally answers Alex, "Their real leader..." He closes his eyes for a moment in grievance. Alex feels his melancholic aura. A single tear out of his left eye bubbled up but he wiped it away and flicked it yet again. He shook his head a bit in annoyance before continuing.
The Kymerin Chief throws grains of metal dust unto the runic floor. Waves of white light rippled upward and formed a three-dimensional image from swaying ferritic sands in mid-air. The chief holds his arm steady, sculpting a visionary mural. It spirals into some depictions of destruction and death. Some of the visuals are met with dissent between two Hyshpa groups. Others are about fighting the Kymera while many are trying to repel their own kind due to a possible outbreak of war. "I wasn't sent here to find you, that was mere coincidence. Glad I was here, however, you seem to be completely lost. Your soul was once named another... I'm sorry to have greeted you so... incorrectly." He points toward the towered obelisk Alex is looking for. His image recreates a scene beyond the valley. A spindled and outstretch lake with a marsh surrounding it. "This is why I'm here... There is a lake of water surrounding the Obelisk. It is not supposed to be there... I haven't done anything further due to... well..." he waves his palm presenting the people of the Kymerin tribe. "They need me... to protect them... I can only span myself so far beyond this land and I'm only one entity of my kind."
Alex looks at the Chief for a moment, "What... 'kind' are you speaking of?" The chief closes his eyes. "You have no memory... I understand..." The chief whizzes the sands around to create a three-dimensional object that consisted of varied light and dark grains. Each one interchanging at different intervals. It looked much like a snowy screen, the image that Alex saw in his head earlier. He finally thought of the word, "Video..." The chief ponders. "Well... no..." He looks at Alex confounded by this resultant imagery. "You don't remember... the void?" The chief iterates. Alex shakes his head slowly in hesitation. It's as if he was hitting a blank in his memory and yet almost completely connecting the dots until the answer betrayed his mind and flew away. The chief thonked his 'spear' on the ground and the seismic momentum surged the metallic visage upward into an unveiling frenzy of particles. The rest of his body is reformed to the dark spiritual mutt he saw in his dream. Glowing eyes, tail, claws, and finally the staff. That single same four sided star mark within his chest, emanating a residual ether. The staff, a forked, flatheaded spear designed for sound and harnessing the entirety of a black hole with its tongs' end. Rings dangle from the sides that pinch outward and the metal deemed sleek and matte in texture. It shined gracefully yet dithered in his aura. "I... am... The Quies. WE are the tangible hive-minded matter of the universe."
