My normal method of haunting the paranormal/cryptid subsreddits has dried up and I haven't found too many interesting stories lately.
I started these as just a way to practice comics and gauge interest for future things, but I'd really like to keep doing them. I'll also put this up in the sidebar so anyone can submit a story anytime!
And while I can't really prove any stories, I would like to keep this to real encounters. Please don't send creepypasta or no sleep stuff in.

One night while asleep, I woke up. My dog was snarling looking into the darkness of the bedroom. When I followed his gaze I saw the child standing there. It looked like a young boy in tattered clothing. I turned to get the light on my bedside table, when I looked again they were gone. My dog relaxed, laying there looking around seeming just as confused and nervous about the whole situation as I did. We decided to go camp in the living room and watch movies the rest of the night.
