Fearful Tales and New Arrivals
News of the Buccaneers' victory against the Vikings spreads throughout Europe, reaching the ears of other Viking captains. They are filled with fear and disbelief, unable to comprehend how mere pirates could defeat their mighty warriors. One captain, determined to avenge their fallen comrades and reclaim Rona Island, convinces others to join him. They gather their forces, forming a formidable fleet of 60 ships, ready to launch a decisive attack.
Back on Rona Island, Rex, ever vigilant, spots the Viking fleet approaching. He anticipates their intentions and immediately orders his men to prepare their defenses. Knowing they are outnumbered and outgunned, Rex devises a daring plan. As the Vikings launch their attack, Rex instructs his men to hold their fire and allow them to come closer. At the opportune moment, they unleash a barrage of flaming rum bottles, setting the Viking ships ablaze. The chaos and confusion give the Buccaneers an advantage, allowing them to pick off the remaining Vikings with their guns. Captain Bellamy, witnessing the carnage from afar, is filled with a mixture of fear and regret. Having seen the Buccaneers' ferocity firsthand, he doubts his ability to defeat them. He hesitates, questioning his fellow captains' determination and the wisdom of pursuing revenge. With the Viking threat neutralized, Rex orders his men to begin loading the island's treasures onto their ship. He is confident that the Vikings will return, stronger and more determined than before. As Rex prepares to leave the island with his newfound wealth, a lookout delivers chilling news. A massive Viking fleet, consisting of 45 ships, is approaching. Rex realizes that his victory was merely a temporary respite, and a much greater battle awaits him.
