A story about a girl who discovers hope.

This story was going to be about Ruby, a young girl who gets put into a psychiatric hospital by her parents for reasons I had not quite decided on yet (I was leaning towards some pretty dark scenarios but I don't want to make this post sad so I wont elaborate) finally after 4 months of treatment, therapy and not being called by her family once, she gets out. The world seems too big and too bright, it scares her but she keeps on going strong. She goes back to school which is cold and lonely, soon though she makes new great friends who show her how amazing life can be and that sometimes family doesn't mean you share blood, and also that just because you share blood with a bad person, that doesn't mean you must love them. I'm a sucker for coming of age stories honestly, I really wanted to have the characters and story flourish originally, but alas this is another for the comic trashcan! I tried!
