It is by law that every person is required to summon a spirit guide before they reach their twenties. Should they fail, they will have their magic sealed and live as outcasts in society. Noah von Vinter is nearing his twentieth birthday and he is getting desperate.
He's willing to use an illegal spell just for a chance to contract even the tiniest of spirits.
What he didn't expect, is the potency of his call catching the attention of several beings who recoiled at his attempts. When hope seemed lost, a spirit reached out and offered Noah a deal he couldn't refuse. There was just one single problem.
