Eden's Armageddon: The legion

Chapter 10 Nigiel Keth

Chapter 10 Nigiel Keth

Oct 18, 2026

Alright, let's analyze this. What’s in front of me right now is a female werewolf. She has ashen-gray and brown fur, wearing a torn gray jumpsuit that looks like something that escaped from a mental asylum. She currently has two battle axes, each dripping blood, along with blood dripping down her jaw, and the most alarming thing about her was her build. She was a full foot taller than me, with forearms and muscles that show that she’s an experienced fighter. She’s also standing up straight and examining her area, possibly waiting for one of them to make a move first, but there is still that one key thing that makes this situation deadly.

She’s feral and ready to attack at a moment’s notice if she senses even a lick of danger, but even then, as I look in her eyes, I see it.

She’s still in there, she can be saved.

I need to calm her down.

I slowly placed my scythe on the ground while pushing Sebrisha back to a safe distance and whispered to her. “Whatever you do, do not hurt her.”

“Are you sure? She looks like she’s ready to pounce on the first soul that looks her way.” Sebrisha loudly whispered back.

“I know, but she didn’t. That means she’s not completely gone yet.”

“I guess,” Sebrisha whispered, full of doubt, but still placing her mixture slowly in her bag.

“I’ll try to calm her down.” I began to creep her way while trying to look as nonthreatening as I possibly could. But, as expected, she was on guard with her weapons, now ready to strike. But still, I crept closer while showing my open palms to her, showing I’m not a danger.

She stepped slightly forward, ready to attack, but then her entire body froze as she sniffed the air. Her features changed instantly from on guard to curiosity, like that of an animal.

I brought my palm forward like you would for a dog and stopped creeping forward. She was still on guard, despite now being curious, but now she was taking cautious steps forward as she got closer to smell me.

The world seemed to go silent as she got closer to me, while I tried my best to resist the urge to pull out my weapon.

She finally made it to my hand, but instead of sniffing it as I expected, she instead sheathed the axe in her right hand and slowly placed a hand on my face, covering up my left eye.

Our eyes then met, and I noticed her slowly changing from feral to almost human. Then she finally spoke in a volume that was no louder than a whisper.

“What have they done to you?” She whispered. I opened my mouth to respond, but the next sound that came out didn’t come from me.

“HEY, WE GOT YOUR CALL!! WHAT’S YOUR SITUATION!!” A voice yelled behind me.

The werewolf jumped back immediately, grabbed her axe, and is now back on her guard while trying to locate the sound.

I turned around to see what that was, and behind the two guards that followed me here was 5 different guards—2 people with fancy outfits and computers and a Troll.

The two guards quickly turned around and tried to warn them to be quiet, but the group didn’t get the message and just kept yelling. “YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP, WE CANT HERE YOU.”

I switched my gaze forward and saw that the werewolf is now freaking out and getting ready to pounce.

“Dude, shut up!” The rat guardsman finally said just loudly enough for them to hear him. The small party froze for a second at the sudden command, but that quickly changed as soon as one of the other guards saw the werewolf and immediately pointed his weapon at her.

“Put your weapons down on the ground!” The guardsman, while pressing a button on his rifle, turning on a red laser.

Everything went left after that.

The Werewolf made a battle cry that almost ruptured my eardrums, then immediately ran toward the Guardsman with the gun aimed at her.

I let out an irritated growl as I fired a chain at Rajeet. The chain managed to snag the Werewolf’s leg and stop her in her tracks. But her speed and lack of hesitation was insane. In one swift motion, she chopped the chain from her leg and threw her axe at me.

I ducked under the axe just in time, but before I could even react, an axe hit me square in the shoulder. I quickly put up my guard for the next attack, but due to the axe in my right shoulder, my arm wouldn’t come up fast enough, leaving me exposed.

She then charged at me full sprint, grabbed the axe in my shoulder, somehow pulled me over her shoulder, and then slammed me onto the hard ground face first.

That hurt.

The Werewolf then ripped the axe out of my shoulder and hit me with a vicious snarl.

“Damn, that’s got to hurt!” One of the Gaurdman.

“Blood arrow!” Sebrisha yelled. I quickly got to my senses and leg-swept the Werewolf while quickly getting back to my.

“Leave this to me!” I yelled as I quickly unsheathed the scythe from my back. The Werewolf then got off her back and quickly crawled to the axe she had thrown first, which was lodged nearby.

She quickly yanked the axe out of the tree, turned around, and got into a more warrior-like position than what she had previously shown. We then began to circle around one another, waiting for one of us to make the first move.

She made the first assault by going for a quick slash to the thigh, but I managed to dodge it and went for a slash on her arm. She quickly spun just in time and used the momentum she gained to try to hit me with a roundhouse kick, but I simply turned my back and used my coffin to block the blow.

She growled in pain and tried to chop me in the gut, but I managed to block both axe strikes and smack her in the face with the pole of the scythe.

She shrugged off the blow and tried to slash me on the shoulder again, but I quickly blocked that strike as well. Then Spartin kicked her in the gut as hard as I could.

That blow managed to knock her on her back with.

She quickly got back to her feet and let out a growl that somewhat sounded like a chuckle as she charged right back at me.

We continued fighting for a while until we somehow went from fighting with weapons to just fighting in hand-to-hand combat. Every punch we threw felt exhausting, and somehow, despite my healing factor, everything hurts. But even despite that, I actually felt like I was having fun.

The Werewolf threw a punch aimed at my jaw, which I quickly deflected and managed to land a solid elbow on her’s. The blow sent her tumbling down to her knees and into a daze.

I loaded up my fist for another blow, but before I did, the werewolf raised her hand at me and began to speak.

“Stop, please,” she said in a tone no louder than a whisper. Her body quickly began changing, with her body getting smaller and the hair surrounding her fur seemingly sinking back, except for the ones on her head.

I let out a sigh of relief as I sat down in front of her. After 10 seconds of waiting, the woman fully changed into form. With tannish skin that’s riddled with scars that most likely came from battles prior, a face riddled with lack of sleep, with black patches underneath the eyelids, brown eyes that look like if there’s any more stress, she’ll go right back to being feral, and brown hair that replicates the fur she had when she was in her werewolf state.

She closed her eyes as she leaned back and took a deep breath of the fresh air of nature. Then she opened her eyes again and looked back at me with a tired smile.

“Well hello, child,” she whispered nicely. “What brings you here?”

When time shows tragedy and grim fates,
You all will look at them and force them into different states.
When someone wants to create their paradise in a world of haze,
You all will stop them in their tracks and set their dreams ablaze.
When all hope seems to be found by the enemy,
You all will appear and turn that hope into distant memory
So go forth into the world and fill it with fear in every region,
And bring uncertainty and hope to the hopeless… my Legion.
