En-ju stepped onto the public transport. She looked at every corner, turning as she tried to find the sarpionist. She even saw a cop, but she preferred to remain silent; she knew she couldn’t trust anyone.

The sarpionist entered the establishment again, but the bus hadn’t driven off yet—it needed 5 minutes to start. En-ju was touching the metal bar with her fingers and sighing. Now there was just one minute left, and she was starting to close her eyes to pray.

When she opened them, she saw the sarpionist in the same place, now with new outfits. She had replaced her green leather jacket, blue skirt and mask with a black cap and a coat, and she had removed her tails, leaving just one.

Eun-ju noticed it: if she was covering her real identity like a saviour of her country, it meant she was going to do everything in her power to kill her, with zero limitations.

Time was up, and the pufferfish transport started to move. Eun-ju was so happy to see how the vehicle left her behind, breathing deeply with hope. But that woman didn’t care about what happened: she threw one of her floating weapons and killed the man who was driving.

On the move, she attempted to attack, breaking some mirrors near the idol. She screamed and dropped herself onto the floor. Everyone was shouting; the police officer ordered everyone to move to the front, trying to find cover behind a broken mirror to shoot.

On the other side, Jeongin was watching her moves. He supposed she was on a bus due to the speed, and he noticed something rare: another car was nearby, faster than them and moving in many directions.

‘What can I do? Should I?’

‘But that shit is moving randomly. We know it’s not usual, Jeo; you must do something,’ spoke Rowan.

‘Yes, do it before it’s too late,’ recommended Paulina.

‘Ok, but…’

‘Jeon, just make the traffic lights stop,’ Dilka suggested.

Jeongin was hacking every system, guessing where they were going to move next and attempting to decipher her pattern again and again. He did it with one station, but Eun-ju didn’t move to that side, and when he knew her next move, he couldn’t hack it in time.

The only thing he was seeing was a box with colours, points and codes. The rest of the team seemed to acknowledge the patterns, but they didn’t know how to make it stop or continue.

Rowan stood up and pointed directly to a specific place. ‘Stop now.’

‘But…’

‘Do it!’

Jeongin followed his orders; he understood what Rowan tried to do. The bus with Eun-ju was leaving the street, but the vandal was not yet, and now that person was waiting at the traffic light.

The idol was watching behind her; she was smiling when she noticed the traffic lights stopped on time and left her behind, so she sat down.

But something rare happened on the radar: they saw that person didn’t stop.

The Sarpionist, inside the radar, advanced, breaking every system and prediction the team made; Rowan was annoyed but determined, while Jeongin began to feel a heavy burden in his chest, feeling that if anything bad happened, it would be his fault.

The sound inside the radar, ‘beep, beep,’ was starting to make him nervous; his fingers felt more slippery. Meanwhile, Eun-ju was gripping the metal bar tightly, not to avoid being thrown from the transport, but to calm her nerves; she could still smell something burnt from the shell casings. Until the policeman asked her to move.

‘Ok, I got it!’ shouted Jeongin.

‘No!’ exclaimed Rowan, raising his hand toward him, like a corpse that had died in agony.

When asking about that decision, the bucket-head told him that if that Sarpionist didn't stop, there was no point, the bus must not stop, because if it makes a wrong move, it will only leave her as an easy target.

‘Then let’s move and carve our path to that woman’s salvation,’ said Dilka, standing up and leaning on Rowan.

‘Wait, Jeo, set the traffic lights to go in our direction,’ Rowan marked on the map where everyone should meet, ‘right there, calculate every traffic light and make them guide her right there.’

As they walked, Rowan asked Jeongin to detect cameras to record her; Jeongin confirms to him that there aren't any, except for the place he marked.

‘I did it right then,’ he added while smiling ahead.

On the way, they positioned themselves on a bridge illuminated by silver stars, shining as if straight out of the dawn; everyone except Rowan ran without taking their eyes off them, Jeongin was sending the marked location to Kim, while Dilka bumped into a wall.

The bus was starting to be overtaken by that woman; nobody understood who she was pursuing, whilst launching random attacks all across the carriage, trying to find her and even injuring several people.

‘Hey! Look! It’s Kim Eun-ju!’

‘How brilliant! But miss, what are you doing in such a dangerous place?!’

‘Allow me to help you!’

‘No!, leave it to me!’

Suddenly, five men tried to cover her, and embrace her, creating a resistance shield like a dome.

The idol, seeing such a feat, had tears fall like tree sap; she couldn't believe that several people would give their lives for her, she would remain crouched and covering her mouth, to prevent her laments and thanks from being heard.

‘Please, don’t do it, get out! Ignore me.’ Inside, she lamented everything she did to stand out in the industry, feeling that her life was repulsive, but on the other hand, for no reason at all, she longed to live.

Suddenly, between the blinking of purple and violet lights, the silhouettes of the men turned out to be redundant, they were the only ones who remained back there, whilst the others were moving forward.

Just as the guard returned, three of the lads were killed by a floating blade that pierced their necks, splattering over each of them; Eun-ju jumped when a bit fell on her, it was as if her very soul were rubbing their deaths in her face, she remained motionless.

The guard collapses to the ground, banging on the floor with all his strength, ‘come! Come!’ but those who were still standing were in shock, in a swarm of blood, and trapped among the corpses that, still standing, would not let go of them.

Then, she shakes her head and begins to crawl; the guard sees her and lifts her up without poking his head out of the window—she was defenceless, luckily the Sarpionist cannot see through walls. As soon as he peers out, he sees two axes on both sides, observing them with their pink eyes and black mouth; as soon as they saw that he observed her, they smiled at him.

Suddenly, they launched themselves like gusts of wind, piercing the policeman’s chest and driving another into his head. It was so deep that his body would not collapse; the needle tried to come out of the fabric, but it was so deeply embedded that it only pushed the body like a piñata. The other detached itself from the body and killed another of the lads.

‘Please! Stop!’ she demanded while throwing herself to the floor again, getting under the seats.

‘I will! But only if you come out yourself.’

There was no answer, but as soon as the sole survivor regained consciousness from the shock, he was executed by another blade; Eun-ju closed her eyes and screamed abruptly. She would still keep her eyes closed until she felt a hand touching her, with his soul of blood—it was the lad, drowning in his own blood, begging for help as if she were capable of working miracles.

Turning around, she sees that one of the girls retreats to the other carriage, but not before gesturing to her. All of a sudden, the back part collapses; swords embed themselves from the outside, forcing Eun-ju to move to the centre.

‘Alright! I’ll come out!’

As she crawls, she sees the policeman’s body and takes his gun, but in the movement she cuts her wrists, causing her to now slide in her own blood.

‘I don’t want to die, but I can’t let anything happen to them either… I suppose it’s my punishment for those… pets,’ she thought.

The bus stopped with a single swipe, causing her to slam into the seat upon impact, making the bodies collapse along with her. Now she was surrounded by corpses—that feeling of touching cold bodies, she had felt it before, but she had never experienced it with people, until now…

‘I want to see you!’

Eun-ju swallowed hard; now her carriage was dark. She peered out from one side and, seeing the Sarpionist, jumped out of the window on the opposite side; her leg lodged more glass, and as she fell from the bus, the shards ended up swallowed by her body like a fox’s bite. Even if the Sarpionist didn’t hear the fall, she was certainly aware of her weeping.

Somehow, she caught an adrenaline rush like that of a hunted gazelle and ran; the champion was walking behind her. Before launching her weapons, the Idol fired blindly at her, but she didn’t hit her.

People peered out to see what was happening while she pleaded for help, but seeing that it was a Sarpionist, everyone took off running.

‘What happened? It changed direction!’ Seeing everyone turn to look at him, Jeongin continued, ‘the bus isn’t going to our planned location, it stopped!’
