A note about future uploads:
Since Tapas is shutting down, I've started transporting Out of Memory to other Realms...er, sites. After all, the Nils are hungry and I need to find new victims to show my work to. You can follow the (mis)adventures of my walking disasters and their cosmic horror friends here:
Thank you all for your support, and see you in the other Realms!
Page Descriptions
P5: Luce immediately breaks the image with his abrasive demeanor LOL. Of all the skills Aisling learned from him, lack of trust in authority and trash talking the elites were some of the key takeaways ;D.
P6: To their credit, the Route Guards did make an effort to save her. Considering what happened to her and her family, can you really blame her for not wanting to leave?
P7: This is one of the most pivotal scenes in the story and reflects some of its central themes, so I wanted to take the time to build up to it.
Empathy and compassion is what overcomes greed, ignorance, and hatred. It brings hope and strength in the face of insurmountable odds. This is one of the core themes of Out of Memory.
P8: Luce has a kinder and more compassionate side, who knew?
You might be asking why no one knows him even though he doesn’t wear a mask. He wore a literal mask while working with his former employer.
Out of Memory follows Zhen Xinyi (真 心意), a pacifistic warrior with reality-warping powers. As an Imperial Prince of the highly-respected Kurosawa Royal family, Xinyi, who is publicly known as Kurosawa Makoto (黒澤 誠), must balance his duties to the Realm of Os and his perilous quest to find the truth about his family.
His acquaintances, whom both aid and hinder his search, include Aisling, a reforming thief who aspires to become a Collector, Yao, a mysterious prince from a rival Royal Family, and Gyoku, an influential politician who suspects him of ill intent.
