If it makes you guys feel any better, just imagine everyone as actors.
Like they’re pretty much the same as they are in canon but they have fun with their jobs
Although Frank is a HUGE DORK and constantly screws up takes by making everyone laugh, either because he fumbled on lines or because he’s actively flirting with cast members (in AND out of character) and so far only Clarence has played along (at least until the scenes where Frank and Dave are together, that’s gonna be ridiculous)
The special effects department is insane
