A few things:
The top two panels is making a meta joke about webcomic time.
Second, a new character. His name is Hamada (emphasis on the first syllable), and he can assist Blair with her investigation while also playing The Lord of Fisticuffs XIV.
The second page has a small easter egg: at one point, I changed the name of the story to Phantom Shadows, but it didn't stick because I discovered that was already the title of a series of romance novels. Oh well.
