My dad's neighbor's cat does this all the time, apparently, just brings over whatever it caught to eat in the middle of my dad's front yard. I sometimes (often) forget that cats are natural hunters, because my own cat is such a lazy bum that he can't even notice a spider, let alone catch it.
What about you dudes? What's the weirdest thing you've found an animal doing (your dog humping something doesn't count).

My puppy found a woodpecker that had hit a window (which usually dazes them). He sat with it for awhile, then he found me and led me to it. He's a mastiff-lab mix so it would be normal for him to kill it. But instead he was worrying over it like a brooding hen. XD (the bird flew away after a bit)
