"Mr. Rabbit"

Mr. Rabbit is my other best friend. He is a big white rabbit with a bow tie and big floppy ears. Natsumi says he used to be the Easter Bunny but he retired because he hated children. She says he is big and stupid because one eyeball is lower than the other one. My mommy got him for my big sister when she was a baby. Mommy tells me when Natsumi was my age she gave it to me and that's why Mr. Rabbit belongs to me now. Mommy says it was a piece offering because Natsumi didn't like me when I was born. She didn't like that mommy spent all her time with me to take care of me. But mommy says she got over it but I think my mommy yelled at her and told her too give it to me. My mommy says we should like each other because we will only have each other when things get bad. She will be my best friend for my entire life too.

I don't think Mr. Rabbit is stupid or bad. One time we left the house and forgot to lock the door. My mommy and daddy forgot and mommy was afraid that someone would rob the house. When we got back my mommy and daddy ran to the house. The door was still open! They opened it and they both laughed. We saw what they laughed at. Natsumi was shocked but she laughed too. I looked inside and Mr. Rabbit was sitting on the stairs and his nose was up. Natsumi says he looked smug but he protected the house from robbers. I don't know how he got there because nobody was home and I left him on my bed and nobody could moved him unless a robber moved him but nothing was stolen from our house. That is how I know Mr. Rabbit is good.
