Style Study of Akihiko Yoshida
Observations:
-Simple method of drawing eyes
-Uses mostly traditional methods
-Extremely clean lines, even at the rough stages
-Use of traditional coloring methods
-EXTREMELY DIFFICULT OT EMULATE

Takeaways for use in Aether Theorem:
-Simpler, smaller eyes?
-Possibly blend colors more, like in the test above
-Do a second study!

Akihiko Yoshida’s style is EXTREMELY difficult to get to read well.
I still don’t feel I’ve studied this enough; Sysla here simply looks like an Akihiko Yoshida tribute…
I also purposely kept Final Fantasy Tactics out of the study, as it’s extremely stylized.
Side note: The Miqo'te in the bottom left is back from a couple years ago when I dabbled in FFXIV.
