Story by Donathin Frye of I, Necromancer: https://tapastic.com/series/I-Necromancer
Royzen and I created this short comic up originally for StArt Faire Magazine, where it accompanied an article I published about writing meaningful character conflict and development. So our story here almost feels like the prelude to something bigger -- hinging on this moment where two opposing wills are forced to collide based on their own needs, their own desperation. We never find out who wins, how far each of our characters will be pushed. Instead, we see how each of their perspectives brings them to the brink.
And Royzen's art is really great, too. You should definitely check out Rocketman.
This was a really good one. The topic here is presented in such an interesting way, as it shows both sides of the struggle. Also, I really dig the art!
Channel Surfing is a series of short one-shot comics of different genres, with scripts/editing/lettering by Donathin Frye and art by different amazing artists from the Tapas(tic) community.
It is slice-of-life, it is comedy, it is horror, it is drama, it is action, it is fantasy ... it is anything and everything.
