A few cultural notes!
-In Spain (and many other hispanic countries), people have two surnames. The first one is typically the father's, and the important one, while the second one is the mother's. When people get married, no one changes their surname, so kids inherit both of their parents' first surnames. In other words, Lucía's full name is Lucía Freire Lindo, Freire being her first surname, not her second name.
-Bachillerato is a two-year pre-university study offered by most high schools (and the most common choice after finishing obligatory education).
ESO stands for Obligatory Secondary Education (four years, usually 12-16), and it'd be the equivalent to middle school. If you wanna know more, check out the Wikipedia article on Education in Spain! (Since it may be a bit confusing) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_Spain
Lucía has a secret she needs to keep: she's a magical girl, who fights monsters and uses magic.
Esperanza also has a secret: she's a NEET, socially awkward, and a hopeless lesbian.
When the two of them start living together, will they be able to hide their secrets from each other?
