Before the events from NiGHTS into Dreams, NiGHTS was the leader of a rebellion against Wizeman, fighting for the freedom of other Nightmarens and to protect the Visitors.
However, in the end, their war was unsuccessful and many Nightmarens lost their lives.
The few who survived, surrendered to Wizeman and were ordered to fight against NiGHTS to capture her.
One of these Nightmaren was Jackle, who was once part of the rebellion but betrayed it out of fear of Wizeman. He regretted his decision when his failure to capture NiGHTS got him sent to a prison bubble and he wants not only to escape, but to also make peace with NiGHTS again. However, Wizeman has other plans for him.

I started this comic back in 2010 and I kept saying I'd bring it back, so here it is!
NiGHTS is referred as "she/her" because it's how it was in the original story, however I do not want any angry comments about NiGHTS' gender.
Outside this story I can also refer to NiGHTS by "them/they" pronouns.
NiGHTS Into Dreams and other characters belong to SEGA/Sonic Team
