*The idiom "Sacred Cow" is derived from the culture clash between the Hindu religion, where cows are considered sacrosanct, and the English-speaking-world not understanding why.

I imagine that in a parallel world, the idiom is "Sacred Dog" because the Chinese are the dominant culture and cannot comprehend why the others consider dogs untouchable and don't eat them.
