Drawing: My First "Complete" Digital Drawing In A While

This is my first "complete" digital drawing in a while. :'D I decided to give it a try again, since I haven't tried it in a while. I hope you do not mind me asking, but can someone please give me advice on how to color? I was able to add the base color, however, I was only able to shade by lowering the opacity and coloring on the same layer. I want to be able to color, while, not messing up the lineart. Thank you so much. I used MediBang Pro to draw this, by the way.

Very good, but you got to work on perspective and sizing. This is what i do for anatomy, i find poses online, and redraw them, it allows me to get a feel for it
