What's this? Another page? Just within a week? Ah, but I think it's because this was an easy page. We'll see how next week goes. Now For the term "cripple," I had to look up to see if YeoungHy's father fit the criteria of cripple. Most cripples are unable to walk, period. But even in historic context, a cripple can refer to anyone with a disability, that prevents him/her from performing tasks as efficiently as an able-bodied person. So having a limp, would technically make him a cripple. The trips to the woods are a big pain for him, but he's gotten used to it. My brother was surprised that the father is an ex-soldier, but we'll find a bit more on the history of YeoungHy's family (much later on).
