Might be because I just woke up and am only on my first coffee, but I found this a bit hard to follow this morning, it felt kinda like a run on sentence of comic layouts maybe? like there needed to be some establishing or narrating boxes within it to clarify? I'm not sure, still loving the art and the concept so I'll try rereading again later just thought I'd mention.
