Aaand there we go, i actually wanted to practice drawing a realistic face copying from a reference, but i ended up completely changing the result! xD
Which is why i wrote in the title "from imagination", because basically that's what it was! Aaand yep, i'm really pleased to see some major progress already, just compare with the last digital painting from imagination i did three days ago!
The method i chose to improve my realistic drawing indeed works, i just have to stick with it and practice more and more, i'm so excited because i never thought i could have been able to obtain these results in such a short time!
Since i'm progressing much faster than i thought, i could resume drawing my comic sooner than i thought!I really like this piece, and, believe me, it's something i haven't thought or said for quite some time, i was never happy with the results, although i kept progressing.
She is beautiful, and the drawing is technically nicely done.
What more could i ask, for the moment?
This took roughly 3 hours, which is waaaay too much and i have to get faster, but for the moment i'm focusing just on the quality, speed is something that will come once i get used to the process and as i keep practicing :)
Hope you enjoy this piece as well - indeed the best work i ever did!
Back to drawing now, gotta keep moving and improving, there's still ssooo much to learn, to improve and to do!
From now on i'm switching to colors, i found that black and white somehow is harder for me than using colors (probably because i already worked with colours, but almost never in black and white.. and probably because i'm no dog and i don't see in black and white. xD)
Good.Evil.Manipulation.Knowledge.Power.Corruption.
Can a single individual win
against a group of corrupted
inviduals who have power
and control over an
entire kingdom?
Mark of Darkness is a Dark Fantasy heavily Psychological/Philosphical, but also rich of action, where you can see everything, but most likely not clichès. Hopefully.
It won't be a typical journey.
All we know so far is that some Regents managed to change a Democracy into a Monarchy, with a plan that lasted years. Now they are called the Peace Warrantors, yet they caused the Great Starvation and no one knows. What are they aiming at? How will the other Kingdoms react?
