so I just got my hair bleached & dyed recently (tried some convenience store bleaching product; it worked really well for smth that costed Rp50.000,-)(dyeing+treatment costed me like $65)(should’ve just tried some commercial hair dye), & today the fringe got a trim.
Due to a mishap the trim was too much, & I ended up with short bangs. I sulked for thirty minutes bcs I don’t know squat about bangs + short hair combo & google wasn’t entirely helpful.

After a while though, I got up & apologized to my Mom & thanked her; she was the one who trimmed... like, it’s free haircut- and she’d done my hair my whole life. I don’t give her enough credit.

now I guess it’s not so bad? I think it looked strange at first because it was completely new; I’ve never had bangs before. Plus my hair’s flat as hell, that’s why my 1st impression of it wasn’t the best.

But now that I know what I can do with it, it shouldn’t be a problem. I can curl my bangs & add a headband (also excuses to make new headbands). ...It’s pretty cool actually. really retro.
