Here we are, about to close Chapter 1. As we near the end, I get increasingly more frightened of truly delving into Chapter 2. You see, Jason and I made this story already. We created Chapter 1 five years ago, and we did okay. It wasn't a smashing success, and to me, it was not the work I wanted to put into the world. I learned one thing: to make better comics, you have to make bad comics. I think Jason and I were on the same wavelength at that time, and so we went back to the "drawing board." And now, here we are. Prepping to begin a part of the story neither of us have ever shown to the public. Even this version of Chapter 1 is dramatically different from the original (see my Instagram for the proof).

All this to say, things are not just getting tense for Colton and Miss Roux (and probably Harker), but also for Jason and I. Jason will be with you next week, and that's when we will truly begin the beginning of the end. After this, three pages remain.
