The can Cat is eating from contains RSP, an infamous field ration used by the norwegian army, consisting mainly of beef, pork, fat and peas, mashed together in a particularly funky-looking mix. There is a common joke about it:
While the abreviation actually stands for "Reservestridsproviant", or "Reserve Combat Ration", many suggest that it really means "Rester av Sprengt Personell", or "Remains of blown-up personell."
Surprisingly, it doesn't taste half bad.
