One argument for God that I have come across time and time again when talking to religious believers is this:
“Can Man create something from nothing? No he can’t. He can only create something using what is already there. But God created everything from nothing.”
How many of you have heard or used reasoning along these lines? If you are a believer who has used this reasoning trying to convert someone to your belief, I suggest you try something ells. and hear is why…
First of all, this dos not mean anything to a skeptical thinker. We are not saying Man is God, we are saying we do not see any evidence of God existing.
Also, this reasoning also dose absolutely nothing to say that your specific belief system is true.
for example, if you believe in the god of the bible, all you have to do is read Genesis Chapter one.
God never made the water. The water was already there when God started making stuff.
