They're such great animals, there is not enough information here. I watched a documentary once about them and I cried so bad TT.TT It's just so sad. The male wait for months after months with no food and if the egg slips outside even for a moment, his only single egg freezes instantly and dies. The baby can die from cold after it hatches, too... Then the mother may not return at all... She may have gotten killed... It was especially sad how some penguins who lost their babies desperately fighted to claim the ones that weren't even their own and sometimes unintentionally crushed the baby in the process. I think the most important part of these penguins is their patience and motherly care.
