I love the difference between the captain and Percy--and the mood that arises from it. They are just a great contrast to each other. I really like Zoltar and his inner monologuing. At some points in the previous chapters I felt like he was coming off too strong and it was kind of annoying but his ability to seem to be totally with it and absolutely clueless at the same time makes me laugh. Also the differences between Eris and and Elias--despite having similar designs in order to be confused--is well done and they appear unique from each other. I feel sometimes if one has two similar characters--they tend to be too much like each other.
