Of course! You said necromancy is a recurring theme. So naturally we'd bump into The Loa at some point. I love that mythology! She got dealings with the Baron hisself maybe?
Also, to clairfy from my other comment. I don't dislike Oded, in fact I like him. He reminds me of Giles from Buffy. But that dude (Giles) made some questionably cynical while still pragmatic decisions.
